“Comfortable and clean.”

Positives: Comfortable and clean. Excellent for the price. Close to highway access, only 3 blocks away. My non-smoking room did NOT have that traditional covered-up-smoke-with-deodorizer smell, which I appreciate. Good mattress and pillows. Good size room. On the negative side, the ice machine would not work for me - the attendant had to shake and smack it around before it would give up the ice. Never saw the coffee, juice, and donuts that were supposed to be in the lobby. Never caught anyone at the front desk, always had to ring the bell (although I can't blame them, I wouldn't want to sit in that small room either).

“Perfect Location for the NASCAR Race!!!”

The Econo Lodge Richmond met all of our needs! The hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms were comfortable. Staff were friendly. The area was quiet! The location was perfect for the NASCAR Race on the weekend. Lots of food places around. The Pancake House right across the road was excellent and inexpensive!! We will book this Hotel again!!

As previously noted, the hotel was what we expected for the money spent. The entire group, 8 of us in 3 different rooms felt safe. The rooms were acceptable. Breakfast was sorely lacking. The first morning there was 1 cup of coffee left, 1/2 pitcher of orange juice and a few honey buns. The next morning there was nothing but a few slices of bread. This was at 8:30. My daughter said the woman came from the back rubbing her eyes as if she had just woke up. There were 3 people in 2 of the rooms, but only 2 towels and washcloths. When asked for more towels and washcloths, the same woman referred us to the maid. The maid's reply was, "I thought you were checking out today". More towels/washcloths would be appreciated.

“dreadful stay”

When we arrived at the hotel it had an odor in the room and then we found food in the fridge, Then when my husband went to get coffee the pot was not even in the lobby, the bed felt like we were sleeping on rocks. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
