Fine for the pricePosted Jul 20, 2014
Got the room pretty cheap, it was clean, decent-sized, all I needed. Staff was helpful, maybe not terribly professional, but fine.

Overpriced facility yet great locationPosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Location was perfect as it was only 2 miles from where I needed to be. It was so easy to get to the motel from I-64. There was 10pm-6am No Noise rule!
Cons: Overpriced for below average quality of the service and furnishings.
Location: Close to major highway, Broad St., where there are Restaurants, gas stations, shopping centers, food stores.
The place where I stayed is a motel, not a hotel. Extended Stay America has 2 buildings: a nice Hotel & low quality motel across the street from each other. What looked like balconies in the pictures online were outside walkways. Windows curtains had to kept closed all the time if you wanted privacy. Room rugs were worn & torn. The "free breakfast" was grab & go, from 6a--9:30a. It was advertised in small print in a room info booklet. I missed it on sat. But the desk clerk was very nice to offer me a muffin, granola bar & a coffee packet. She was the only staff that smiled & talked nice to me. All the other staff was sourpusses.

Not what I was expecting...Posted May 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
They take a Real Good picture of the "Hotel"....it's more of a Upgraded Motel....New Extended Stay right across the parking lot....I was by myself for 1 night so was "Ok", but don't recommend if going with someone or for more than 1 night. Had a stove and Fridge which was ok, but if I had a choice, would stay somewhere else, or would have chosen the newer Hotel.

Easy quick drive to racetrackPosted Apr 30, 2014
Pros: It was very quiet!!! We did not have any noise issues at all.
Cons: Rooms just need updated.
Location: Very nice safe area to stay. Many places to eat of all price ranges. Shopping close. Easy access to and from the hotel.
Room was clean, but very worn. Carpet was stained, but was as clean as it could be, very worn. Kitchen area and bathroom was clean. Shower and refrig appeared to be pretty new. Outside area was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Linens were pretty new. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. There was not anything fancy about this facility, but it was not a bad place to stay.

Great Stay - Perfect for My NeedsPosted Apr 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
I needed a room for one night at a convenient location to hit a gas station in the morning and then get right on the interstate. This hotel was perfect for just that. The room was small, but it had all the amenities I needed to prepare myself for the next day. In the morning, the hotel had a great "Grab and Go" breakfast with coffee, fruit, muffins and various granola/oatmeal bars. Also, they had a newspaper for me to take and read, free of charge. This location is convenient to several different restaurants and gas stations, and it is less than a mile away from the entrance/exit to I-64. I would definitely stay here again! :)

OK hotel for the race weekendPosted Apr 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
I booked this hotel for the RIR NASCAR weekend and it was OK for that. It's easy to get to from the track and was a bit cheaper than some other closer ones. Overall a decent hotel, nothing special about it. Had somewhat of a "smoke smell" to the whole room, even though it was non-smoking. Water dripping was heard through the night to (thank goodness I brought my fan). Overall OK for one night.

close to UniversityPosted Mar 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
There are two Extended Stay Americas… I was placed in the older one. It was clean, anything you needed there, but antiquated. Floor was concrete with no padding…old rug. I was in a handicapped room (last one left as I checked in late). Floor in bathroom not splendidly clean.

The hotel is close to the train station, but you have to take a taxi to some places, as the bus goes only downtown.

The room was very clean but it did have an awkward smell.
