we had a family reunion.

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: Very nice and clean hotel with good daily breakfast.
Cons: Handicapped room has no counter space in the bathroom. All our toothbrushes and make up accessories had to use dirty toilet seat cover for our stuff
Location: Travel to No. 3 Road takes more time.
We had 7 adults and 6 grandchildren for a wonderful family reunion.

Pros: Staff
Staff very friendly. Good for an overnight stay before catching ferry or plane. Close to restaurants, theatre and other activities for kids. Clean. Breakfast decent and staff work hard to keep it stocked and clean.

Great if you have event at Richmond Ice Center

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Proximity to ice rink and lots of entertainment
Cons: Internet service was sub-par and difficult to work from, didn't give room upgrade for Expedia status for duration of stay.
Location: Richmond Ice Center, large movieplex, bowling, trampolines, laser tag, swimming/slides
While my son was in an all-day all-week camp I worked from my hotel room. The proximity to the ice rink and other entertainment was great although it was not the best set up for work. I also was not impressed that my Expedia status did not get me a room upgrade as the desk clerk replied to my request, "we don't have that for 5 nights"

Good location but dont come too early

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Highly recommended hotel, the location is just beside the cineplex, 15-20 mins to downtown vancouver. Lots of parking. Beds are Very comfy, and the complimentary breakfast is the best. although based on my experience if youre checking in make sure to check in at the time they say, i drove for 12 hours straight with my wife and 2 kids from Edmonton and i was very sleepy and we tried to "early check in" at 12 noon but room was not ready until 3 pm which is the actual check in time. So from 12-3 i slept in my car on the parking of the hotel. They cant give you a different room for tracking purposes thats what they're saying. Or maybe they dont have enough staff to clean the rooms. But what ever reason it may be we got our room a little before 3 pm. So if youre driving to vancouver stay at the Holiday inn express richmond. Just dont come too early.

Nice pool and gym area and the best breakfast program we have seen anywhere. Friendly housekeeping staff who couldn't have been more helpful.

Front desk staffs like to chat and a bit slow in responding to questions or calls to front desk.
