Very impressed with the hotel,nothing here to complain about. I would recommend this hotel to all, it's a great place for families to stay without any worries.

“Great for Families”

We visited family in Richmond and needed a hotel - we prefer to stay somewhere with a kitchen and a separate bedroom and Homewood Suites was one of the few options. We were delighted with check-in (the woman couldn't have been nicer or more helpful) and pleased with the overall stay. The bed was great and we liked the option of having the HVAC fan run all the time - helped the kids sleep better! The mini gym was well equipped and fairly well ventilated. We didn't get to try the pool/hot tub due to a thunderstorm, but they looked inviting! And finally, the complimentary breakfast was great.

This was a our second year staying here and each visit has been great!! Very clean and comfortable! Great rates.

Homewood Suites is always a good choice and this hotel was no exception. We pick Homewood Suites whenever possible when traveling.

“Beautiful Hotel”

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff was great and the location was excellent. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are furnished nicely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a great, comfortable place to stay.

“Good experience”

We stayed here for the NASCAR weekend in September. Overall, we were pleased. The general appearance of the hotel was great. The room was spacious and in fair shape. There were a few little things - but no biggie. The shower head actually worked - which I find rare in hotels - and there was no problem with pressure/temperature. The hotel was full for the weekend, but remained quiet and nice. We appreciated the free high speed internet, the clean pool area, and breakfast also. All in all, a good experience.

“The kitchen was very useful”

The kitchen was stocked with pots/pans/etc. and included a large refrigerator and even a stove. Our only complaint was the bathroom; there was no bath (only a shower) and it did not drain very well.

“Clean and comfortable vacation retreat”

My husband and I spent three nights at this hotel for an anniversary and Civil War sightseeing trip. We were so pleased at the delightfully appointed suite, with kitchen, "living room," and king bed and bath, all completely clean. The hot breakfast each morning offered ham, eggs, omelettes, hash browns, sausages, fruit, pastries, and the best coffee EVER! The walls seemed to be quite soundproof; I never heard neighbors. Considering there were many children there for a soccer tournament, this was quite amazing! The lobby and second floor mezzanine level had several places to seclude oneself away with a book, or sit with coffee and "people-watch." I noticed only two jarring notes during our visit: 1) in two places there were a housekeeping cart and a dirty dish cart permanently parked in guest view all day, in or near the main lobby; not a pretty sight. 2) the television in the dining room was on all day long, and the first day it played at a blaring level (and a dancer with more makeup than clothes pranced around) while families ate. I did ask that it be turned down, and the manager complied quickly. The TV did make it hard to do any reading around there because of the droning noise throughout the day. Other than that, we did so enjoy our stay, especially the breakfast and the comfortable room!

“Okay for short stay or business trip”

The location of the hotel is perfect, it's right off the freeway and is close to tons of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The bed in our room was very comfy and everything seemed clean and well maintained. The shower in the bathroom was not up to my standards. The tile was old and grimy, there was black residue, I'm not sure if it was mold or old grout? Either way it was gross and I only used it once. The shower made the loudest screeching noise, it sounded like a screaming baby. Overall for a business trip or short stay its definitely not the worst I've seen, but I will check out another hotel the next time I'm in the area.
