One Night StayPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: All rooms are on the ground floor; you park right outside room door. The shower was nice; shower head offered numerous settings and the water got hot.
Cons: There was a hole in the floor board beneath the radiator. The room smelled of stale smoke. The cleaning could most definitely be better; more detailed
Location: There is an Aunt Sara's Pancake House very near-by. Easily accessible to the Richmond area and major highways.
Not a bad hotel, not the best. Older property age and wear are factors. No Smoking sign in room not enforced. Be prepared with air freshener. King sized bed was very comfortable, linen on bed was clean. Towels and wash clothes are clean; but not white, a little off colored. Room was large (closet and bathrooms are built-in) with a microwave and a flat screen TV. No coffee maker in room; but free in room WiFi and HBO. A nice touch was the light sensitive night light in bathroom. Areas of the room could use some serious cleaning. Chairs were stained, light fixtures were dusty. One (comfortable looking, but I didn't sit on any of the chairs) lounge chair had food crumbs in it. Walls seem to be thin. We could hear the folks next door, even though it appeared they were speaking in normal tones; not loud or rowdy. Got the room for what appeared to be a reasonable rate. Room served the purpose for one night. Recommendations are based on purpose for visit. It was a place to lay our heads for the night, one night. I would do this hotel for one night; and recommend it for same. If we were going to be in the area for a while; I would not want to stay here for an extended stay of any kind.

Came for Richmond marathon. A little bit of noise from next door but pretty well-insulated walls. The sink was stopped up and would not drain. Other than that, no complaints about cleanliness or comfort. Good shower, good beds. Microwave, fridge, A/C & heat (not too loud).

Really not a bad place to stayPosted Sep 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
It wasn't as bad as some of the reviews said. It was close to eating places and only 17 min from Kings Dominion.

I would have to say this is the BEST hotel we have had for the race weekend. We loved everything about it. Freshly remodeled and very clean, great location.

Great DealPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Easy access on and off from major road, park in front of room, wide porch for hanging out and relaxing, 2 additional roll out beds fit 4 adults.
Cons: A pool would have been nice.
Location: Easy drive to Richmond International Raceway! Early check in at 2 pm, considered tailgating on porch.
Booked online w/ Expedia. No frills, no hassel, no problems.

The only complaint I havePosted Jun 5, 2014
Everything was fine except the complementary. Breakfast was aweful! If you are going to advertise you have it then at least have the basics
