Right on the strip...

Posted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: It was good for my intentions.
Cons: Continental breakfast could be much improved. No one eats white bread anymore.
Location: Location was good, close to downtown or whatever you want.
Walked in and the place was like the North Pole. The T.V. was on, but not the heat. Reasonably clean. Heavy traffic outside up and down the strip was not even noticeable. Few other patrons that weekend, so that was nice. Really not too bad.

For the money, very nice motel

Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: see above
Cons: breakfast but is was what I was expecting for this price
Its not the Ritz but for the cost it is very nice. It was half the cost of Hampton Inn down the street. Room was very compy, very good bed, room was clean, free wifi in room, OK to good shower, very efficient heating system. "free continental breakfast" was as expected and not very good--coffee, cookies, packaged type muffins, I think dry cereal, small cups of peanut butter and ? honey or jelly.

A sad stay

Posted Apr 29, 2013
Pros: none
Cons: everything
Location: the location is not to bad
I reserved a room weeks in advance of an event I would be attending in the area, When I arrived from a very long drive there where no rooms left like I had reserved, instead of two double beds there was only one, makeing sleep uncomfortable for all, the room smelled bad and the bathroom was so cold ice wouldn't even melt. the breakfast is laughable don't even bother.

Not worth the price!

Posted Apr 4, 2012
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Lack of security and poor furnishings.
Location: Area did not appear to be safe.
Furniture and rug looked old and shopworn. people was standing around on 2nd floor balcony and loudly talking at 2:00 AM. Had to ring bell to rouse attendant to check in.

Quality on a budget

Posted Mar 31, 2012
Pros: Location, price, cleanliness
Cons: Very sparse breakfast offerings
Location: Just on the edge of town, much more appealing than the chains just off of interstate
This hotel provided excellent quality for the (very low) price. I found the location good for my purposes (visiting Earlham College). Knight's Inn is much closer to town than the larger chains just off of the interstate.

Bad Hotel

Posted Feb 24, 2012
Cons: it smelled
Location: Off the beaten path.
I went to the hotel and when I received my keys and went to the room, they used so much room deodorizer, enough to make you sick. I went to the office and got my money back and went to the Quality Inn down the road. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
