Pros: Appearance, location convenient.
Cons: Provide a blanket to cover with instead of heavy spread. Clean air filters in rooms.
Location: Convenient to interstate and not far from downtown Richmond where we have family.
Impressed with decorating and general appearance of hotel. Very nice! We don't live heavy bed covers so this was a little difficult since we were cold without it. When we turned on the heat, it must have blown out dust because my husband immediately began to sneeze for several minutes. Maybe your filters should be checked. We ordered breakfast in our room and it was excellent food and service. Bathroom clean and good shower.

When I checked in, the room type I had booked was not available. My wife and I were traveling with our two children and had booked 2 doubles. The desk informed me we were in a king. Ironically, this was the second time this year we had traveled to Richmond after booking a Marriott hotel just to find out our room was not available. The clerk told me bed type was a request, not a guarantee. After some discussion she had a "cancellation" and was able to put us in 2 doubles. The property was clean, well maintained, and in a good part of town. I would stay again as long as I could get the correct room type.

the humidity in the hotel was unbelievable. the AC was turned up so high you froze and yet you felt like you were in the bayou.

Pros: It was very quiet and relaxing..I did not hear any other noise
Cons: That we were on the 5th floor and my son kept running around the whole time

This hotel experience was very pleasant. Front desk was polite and ordering food was overwhelmingly great!! The food was awesome!! First experience here at this hotel and loved it!!

This hotel is convenient to good food, the highway, and in a decent neighborhood. I travel alone and felt safe and comfortable here.

I chose the location of the hotel because of the closeness of the amusement parks. The quality of the room was not what I expected when reserving a room at the Marriott. The first thing noticeable was no flat screen television. It appeared to be an old school 27 inch bubble butt model. The central air was not what I expected either because the name Marriott is different from every other hotel. At least this is what I thought. We requested the sheets be changed because they were stained. This was completed quickly. At breakfast the utensils and plates were also dirty. If this was any other hotel I would have been okay but for what we paid we expected more. I will not stay at this hotel again .
