Room was nice, but no insulation. Too much outside room noise.

Quick Marathon Weekend Stay

I was there for the Richmond Marathon. The hotel was good and clean, although my room had a weird smell when I arrived. I think it was since the air had been off so there was no airflow. I had looked forward to using the pool, but it was outdoors only and covered for the season. Since it was a Residence Inn, I was surprised there was no indoor pool. However, a Courtyard Marriott is across the parking lot and guests were allowed to use that pool.

Stayed there a week while recovering from surgery. Room was comfortable. The breakfasts and the weeknight socials were a plus.

Great stay. A lot of great amenities and plenty of room for the money. Only thing I would like to see different (and this applies to all hotels) is an empty electrical outlet by the bed for my CPAP machine.

Too much noise

The hotel itself was great. Clean, in a good location. It just felt like the walls were paper thin. I could hear everything going on outside in the halls.
