Inexpensive, comfortable, two night stay.Posted Apr 7, 2015
Location: Richmond is located on the Old National Road (US 40). The downtown historic district with museums, good food and small shops is worth visiting.
The motel building is a little dated, but is well maintained. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room had been completely updated; comfortable bed, nice furniture, modern bath, mini fridge, microwave, and flat screen TV. I would definitely stay there again.

Richmond Inn & SuitesPosted Mar 30, 2015
Short stay, late arrival, early departure, just for sleeping. Room was a smoking room which I did not want, so odor was the big problem. Older facility & TV which was just OK, poor picture quality.

Better than expected, good bang for the buck.Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Loved the convenient location. Rooms were very sound proof. No outdoor distractions or distractions from neighboring rooms.
Cons: Pool was closed and looked like it hasnt been used in years. No pool furniture. Outside can use TLC.
I'm cheap when it comes to dishing out money for hotel reservations when all I do is plan to sleep and shower there. I dont believe in paying $100 /per night for every hotel stay. We were very pleased and surprised with the quality of this motel. It looks run down from the outside, but the room was nice and clean including the bathroom and shower. Staff was very freindly and visible (not that we needed them for anything extra). Rate included free wifi, direct tv and breakfast. Breakfast was slim, but I enjoyed the cereal. We dropped off daughter to nearby Earlham College and we will definitly stay here again. Close to all shops and restaurants including WalMart and CVS.

Right on the strip...Posted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: It was good for my intentions.
Cons: Continental breakfast could be much improved. No one eats white bread anymore.
Location: Location was good, close to downtown or whatever you want.
Walked in and the place was like the North Pole. The T.V. was on, but not the heat. Reasonably clean. Heavy traffic outside up and down the strip was not even noticeable. Few other patrons that weekend, so that was nice. Really not too bad.

For the money, very nice motelPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: see above
Cons: breakfast but is was what I was expecting for this price
Its not the Ritz but for the cost it is very nice. It was half the cost of Hampton Inn down the street. Room was very compy, very good bed, room was clean, free wifi in room, OK to good shower, very efficient heating system. "free continental breakfast" was as expected and not very good--coffee, cookies, packaged type muffins, I think dry cereal, small cups of peanut butter and ? honey or jelly.

Great value, low pricePosted May 6, 2013
Cons: I don't know if the motel owner has the resources for this, but it would be nice to have some plants and small areas of landscaping around the outside
Location: Glenn Miller park is two blocks down the street, and it's huge, beautiful, with a pond, playground, and picnic areas.
I've stayed twice at Knights Inn, two nights each time. From the outside the motel looks a little run down, but both times my room was clean and comfortable, with a good microwave and fridge, and surprisingly nice, very clean, bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable, with crisp clean sheets. There was no smell of smoke in my non-smoking room, and no strong smell of disinfectants, either. Staff members were helpful and friendly. Overall the experience was as good as I've experienced in somewhat more expensive motels.

A sad stayPosted Apr 29, 2013
Location: the location is not to bad
I reserved a room weeks in advance of an event I would be attending in the area, When I arrived from a very long drive there where no rooms left like I had reserved, instead of two double beds there was only one, makeing sleep uncomfortable for all, the room smelled bad and the bathroom was so cold ice wouldn't even melt. the breakfast is laughable don't even bother.
