“Wonderful Except For Problem This Particular Stay With The Pool”

We loved our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. There was one opportunity for improvement - the Saturday night we were there, the pool seemed to have been overwhelmed with a mob of kids and parents wearing their clothing into the pool, and there typically is no lifeguard or staff for the pool itself - it's standard to be 'swim at your own risk' at a lot of places with pools like this. Earlier in the day my wife swam and had no complaints, but at that moment it just didn't seem sanitary. It was probably cleaned up and spotless the next morning, but we left before we could check.

Everything was good. The room was clean and pleasant. The only unpleasant thing was that the breakfast was not good. I paid for the buffet, but there were few things left and the lounge was very noisy, full of people talking.

“Solid Comfort at Reasonable Rates”

While the facility itself is showing its age somewhat, the staff is very friendly and responsive to requests. My wife, an exercise nut, was quite pleased with the equipment in the gym room and the swimming pool. Considering the reasonable rates, our experience was more than satisfactory. We'd definitely go back.

Hotel and rooms were clean. The hotel inside is starting to show signs of age and is a little outdated.

I have no real complaints against this hotel. Everything was clean, I received a free USA Today every morning, and the room featured the usual toiletries, coffee, and iron/ironing board. It was an unremarkable experience, but in a good way.

“So So”

The computer printer did not work which put me at a disadvantage as I was there for business. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows more on the flat side, the towels were stiff and uncomfortable. The hotel was old and in need of repair, especially the elevators. I think I expected more for the amount of money per night and the hotel star rating.

“Richmond trip”

Mold in shower panel joints , needed to be re caulked. Food service trays left in hall for over twelve hours(sanitation problem)

“Rooms are nice but hotel is older”

The room itself was nice and you could tell the linens, pillows and decorations were new but the hotel itself is much older. Just looks like they made it pretty to cover up the age of the hotel. I was not impressed and will more than likely not stay there again. The staff was very friendly.
