“Ashland's Finest!”

The Super 8 in Ashland, VA was our first stop on a drive down to North Carolina's Outer Banks. For the money, the place was terrific -- certainly a better buy than our room in Nag's Head. The bed was fine, the shower was very good/strong, the TV worked well, and the breakfast was quite adequate. Everything was clean and well maintained. The check in and check out was done pleasantly. We did not have a chance to try the swimming pool, but the kids who were in it seemed to be having fun. I would certainly recommend the Super 8 for anyone passing through or anyone planning on more than a day's trip to King's Dominion.

“Fine Hotel For the Price”

I was iffy about this particular hotel because of the negative comments on it, but I chose it anyway. It was clean the room did not smell like smoke which is always a big plus for me as I despise smoke. And the room was always cleaned back before my girlfriend and I came back. Overall I loved it and if I'm ever in the area again I will stay there.

The hotel was easy to find. The room was clean and comfortable. The Breakfast area was clean and had a good selection. If we ever were in this area again we would stay there again.

This is a great location off of I 95. The building was away from the highway to keep down the noise but close to get back on. The pool the playground and the staff were great. They even left the pool open late because it had thunderstormed earlier and the kids didn't get to swim long. The continental breakfast was satisfying and had a variety of breakfast food. If the room had been vacuumed and the hair cleaned out of the tub I would say this was an excellent room.

Nice and helpful staff..seems family run. I will be back...great value..was looking for comfort, safety, location., price..needs a good paint job but that's ok.

They had a free breakfast but you have to eat in the breakfast room, I thought that was dumb cause all they had where muffins and cereal. Other then that it was nice, I like the pool and the a/c was in the room so you can control you room temp. Also it is close to everything!!

everythings was fine till you had to climb the stairs and the smell of urine in the hall way.
