“A wonderful stay”

“Brand new”

Brand new hotel, beautiful, convenient. Still having a few problems - the tv in our first room was not getting the hd signal correct causing a distaughted picture [solved by changing rooms] and the elevator developed a mind of its own [the doors would not open and the elevator would not move - after 5 minutes it started back up and we could exit]. Despite these issues, i strongly recommend the hotel to people visiting the area on business or pleasure.

“Westin in the Snow”

My experience at the hotel exceeded expectations - luxury in rooms, pool and hot tub available on a snowy day, delicious breakfast in lobby restaurant. Staff were courteous when I cancelled the last four nights (was able to stay with my family) - and Expedia promptly credited my Visa account. Will definitely return to this first-class hotel, and recommend it to other travellers to Richmond. Westin is right about their ":heavenly" beds!

“A good choice for Richmond”

This is the new style of Westin. The cleanliness, great beds, nice linens, and roomy bathrooms are exactly what we look for in a hotel. The newer luxury hotel trend of dispensing with the bathtubs and having, instead, roomy showers works well for us, and it's always nice to have a fluffy robe awaiting one in a hotel room. Free parking is nice, since so much of Richmond has parking charges, and our room was quiet despite being next to the ice room. As with our last stay at a Westin, the staff was extremely helpful and efficient--Greg went out of his way to make us feel like valued guests. If you're craving the noisy downtown traffic and bar noise, this hotel may prove too quiet--but we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. For us, the location was fine, being convenient to a freeway, and nearby restaurants. They have their own music evenings in the bar (jazz the night we arrived), but we didn't hear it at all upstairs. We did hear high school prom kids in the courtyard our room overlooked, but their event wrapped up at a reasonable hour. The pool and weight room were easy to access, and not crowded.

“Perfect Stay”

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel, for a mini getaway. It's location is perfect - so close to many restaurants, and main roads. It's a beautiful hotel - very clean. And the hotel staff are extremely friendly. I like the security (must use your room key to operate the elevator, for instance). It's also a very quiet hotel. I highly recommend it!

“Very nice stay”

Hotel is new, clean and upscale; the bed was very comfortable and liked the dual shower head and the large shower stall rather than the traditional bathtub - it's roomier. HVAC system was unobtrusive and quiet, unlike some of the cheaper hotels / motels. Staff was friendly and helpful.
