“Repeat customers”

We enjoy this hotel and have stayed here on several occasions. It is in a lovely secluded location with a design unique in comparison to most hotel chains. Several buildings make up the property which overlooks a golf course. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable; the mattress was great. Every necessity that you hope to find in a hotel room was present, even a wall-mounted, lighted, magnifying mirror in the bathroom, which is something I have needed many times yet rarely found in most chain hotel rooms. Room service breakfast is available, but we wish we had a spot to pick up a cup of fresh brewed coffee. Perhaps it is available in the main (check-in) building; we did not go there to find out, but will on out next stay.

What a great place and a good bargain. I was looking for somewhere quiet and off the beaten path and I found it! Beautiful grounds and really nice rooms and staff excellent. thumbs up on this one!

“Friendly Atmosphere”

You always started your day off in a good mood because the staff always greeted you in the morning with a smile and a cheerful hello. Everyone was very helpful and willing to serve the guests.

This hotel is beautiful inside and outside. The room was great and had lovely furniture, it was also spacious. I would have loved to have walked around the grounds but it was a little to chilly, but I am sure it would be a great walk if the weather was warmer.

“Customer Service”

When I told the clerk at registration it was our 47th anniversary, she gave me two meal vouchers for breakfast. Great customer service.

“Wonderful experience!!!”

We stayed there for the weekend and they had a wedding going on so they were fully booked and very busy. They made a wonderful impression on us with the friendliness with everything going on and seemed to have everything under control. The staff in the Tavern were amazing as well, just an overall great experience. The rooms were great and they have this awesome underground tunnel for when the weather is bad that goes to each of the buidings.

“Front desk not truthful”

Beautiful property and excelent location. Only problem was that I booked a King room, which was supposedly guarenteed thru Expedia, and when I got to the room, it was two doubles. I called the front desk and they said that was all that was available-that the King was not guarenteed thru a third party booking. . I called Expedia, who in turn called the hotel.Expedia said it was guaranteed! They then agreed to move me to a Queen. Why was I not given this option to begin with from the front desk??? They were clearly being untruthful when they said that the double was all that was available.
