Check in was late but they gave us a free breakfast in the morning to compensate.

Great hotel friendly staff.

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Room was spotlessly clean, staff were extremely friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Took about half an hour on the train from Waterloo to Twickenham and then a five minute taxi to the hotel, but the distance was reflected in the price of the hotel. A reasonably priced hotel with very high standards and comfy beds.

Nice suburban hotel

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Quiet area with public transit nearby
Cons: food choices in the bar and restaurant could be better.
Location: other than rugby stadium there was nothing nearby to see and do
The hotel was nice, but not the best of choice for tourist visits to london. The hotel is about 20 minutes by train outside of central London. The great price is what got me to stay here rather than other choices, however breakfast at about $30 per person, internet at $30 per night and about $200 extra in Oyster card fares for my family more than would have paid for a downtown stay. There was a grocery store very close by which was nice but there were no restaurants nearby, all were closed since it was not rugby season. The room was nice but the view was of a block wall about 40 feet in front of the window, apparently only 2 suites have a view into the stadium and the rest have similar obstructed views.

Excellent hotel

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Rooms and decor was lovely.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Attached to the stadium so perfect for the rugby, yet a short walk from the high street.
Really lovely hotel just a short walk from Twickenham High Street and attached to the Stadium. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated with incredibly comfortable beds.

Good value hotel for excellent facilities

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pleasant environment with very helpful staff. Two double beds in a spacious very well presented room. Used a lot of taxis to get from hotel to other places as public transport from hotel not great.

All staff very helpful and friendly

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Everything except the price of breakfast
Location: Enjoyed walking up to the centre of Twickenham
Breakfast was excellent but at nearly £20 we found it a bit expensive however room rate at £40 a head we felt was very reasonable (considering other London prices at the moment for a 4 star hotel) - with 2 runners in the 10k London charity run the hotel were good enough to let them shower in their sports area on return from the run - many thanks.

Pros: Location and free parking.
Cons: Tiny issue, tea bags were tasteless and the biscuits were soft (old)
Location: Good for access into central London

Too hot! Air conditioning broke! Windows locked!

Posted Jul 4, 2014
The whole stay experience was ruined by the air conditioning not working. A fan was running and making a noise but it didn't respond to any buttons. The room was 26C so far too hot to sleep comfortably. We couldn't even open a window as they had locked and screwed them shut! We both slept awfully. I mentioned the fault as soon as we arrived and gave them hours to fix it before we got back in the evening. All we got was a noisey fan to recirculate the hot air. Useless! I asked for a new room. "Oh no we are full up". Hard to believe as the internet was taking reservations. Got a nice phone call from the manager apologising and promising some Marriott reward points. A few more days later, got nothing on my rewards account!

Great Hotel

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The comfortable bed and the views from the room.
Location: Twickenham riverside 15 minutes walk away, Richmond riverside 10 minutes bus ride away, very close to the station, direct trains to waterloo.
Great location, 10 minutes away from Twickenham station, the hotel staff are very welcoming, the room was a good size, lovely views of Richmond and Twickenham. Really enjoyed our 1 night stay there.
