Lovely hotel just over Kingston Bridge

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: The room was warm & clean & the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful & you could eat as much as you were able to eat.
Cons: 3 Light bulbs in our room were non existent or didn't work
Location: The proximity to Kingston & Hampton Court Palace & Bushy Park.
We checked in on Sat. morning & took the train into London which was very easy from Hampton Wick Station about 5 minutes walk away. The receptionist was very helpful & gave us extra tea,hot chocolate & milk without hesitation. They hadn't filled these up in our room. We walked to Hampton Court Palace on the Sunday & were told we were able to leave our car in the hotel carpark until we returned even though it was after check out time.

Very nice Hotel

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Nice Staff, Good parking. Just a nice place to stay.
Cons: The room was a bit expensive and breakfast was not included making it a £200 a night stay. may be something to do with the rugby.
The hotel has a great location near the river with good parking next to the rooms, the staff are first class and could not do enough for you.

Ok. Not great.

This hotel is OK as far as hotels go! We had to wait half an hour to get checked in (despite having pre-paid & booked over a month in advance). Once in the room, The air conditioning did not work, so we spent much of the night awake due to the heat. The walls are very thin and the floors very loud so you can hear everything! I was pretty shocked to find that, after paying £180 for a one night stay, breakfast was not included. I paid an extra £8 each for a continental breakfast which consisted of a croissant, a coffee, and a mini box of cereal. Overall, it was ok. Would I stat here again? Not if I can help it!

Near perfect for the Palace

Arranged to visit Hampton Court Palace with my partner. This is extremely close, easily within walking distance for those not adverse to walking, but equally easy for driving. Hotel is simple but adequate, nice bar area. We stayed in a superior room (Catherine Parr) typically themed for the surrounding area. Very nice room. 2 minute walk to many major shops over the bridge. The only downside was that the hotel sits on a busy roundabout which is very loud in the morning. Lovely pub called The Foresters literally a minutes walk from the hotel. Exit the hotel and turn left, straight ahead of you.

Lovely suite but bit on the small side.

a pleasant stay in a lovely suite. For the money, the suite was rather small but decorated beautilfully. It would be ce to have a breakfast included. Very helpful hotel receptionist who stored our bags until we returned.
