Very accommodating!

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: Above all the excellent customer service! The clean room and air conditioning was great too!!
Cons: No improvements needed at all I am glad to say!!
Location: We were there to help our son fix up his rental property so we did not get to do too much around Ridgecrest but I will say they had good restaurants!!
This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The service was excellent. A gentleman named Janak greeted us every morning and was really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast daily. The room was clean and the air conditioning was working beautifully since it was over 100 degrees the whole week we were in Ridgecrest!! It was a very pleasurable experience.

1.5 hours southwest of Death Valley

Posted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: Location and space. There was a couch in the room in addition to a large bed.
Location: Little Petroglyph Canyon,Trona Pinnacles, Searle Lake bed, BLM wild horse and burro refuge. There were a fair number of restaurants in town.
I picked this hotel because of its location (and price) to Death Valley National Park. It was still a long drive to get there, but there was a number of attractions nearby. I liked the Trona Pinnacles which is an unusual landscape where a number of sci-fi movies and TV series have been shot.

Pros: Nothing
Very disappointed. The room was rundown and not very clean.....No hot running water. Had to call the front desk. Front desk person came to the room said because no one had used the room recently we needed to let the water run for 20 min and it would get hot. Luke warm only....Room was not furnished with enough towels...Two bath towels, one washcloth....Would not recommend this motel to anyone.

We sincerely like apologize about hot water situation beaker to pump was tripped and it is not common problem we face so could not find it while you were here. We do provide two set of all towels and always ready to provide you extra if needed, all you have to do is call front desk... Again sorry for the inconvenience...

Rooms aren't super fancy but the service is!

Posted May 14, 2015
Pros: service, friendly, tipps for further travels
Cons: The lock on the door wasn't working 100% and the TV reception was a bit bad, other than that we thought everything else was great.
Location: Death Valley, Sequoia National Park, Red Rock Canyon
The rooms of Travel Inn are not super fancy but they have everything you need and are clean. The place however is a perfect stop if on your way to Sequoia National Park, Red Rock Canyon or Death Valley because the manager is super friendly and has amazing tipps. We felt very welcome and would stay here again. Happy travels!

Hotel was very old and has not been updated. There was a couch out front. Not a pleasant place to stay.

Good Service

Posted Apr 30, 2015 on Hotels
The Travel Inn is well located and the manager is very helpful. He responded quickly to our request for a different coffee pot and to check our slow draining sink. The motel is older and some of the rooms need basic repairs. Breakfast is light on protein, but there are several cereal and fruit choices. It is quiet and moderately priced. Pets are welcome for a small fee.

Goeie accommodatie, zeker voor die prijs

Aangenaam verblijf. Met 60$ per nacht een mooie prijs. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, met extra info over onze trip. We hadden alles wat we nodig hadden.

Small but serviceable

Posted Apr 1, 2015 on Hotels
The room was very clean, the beds were really comfortable. The furniture, however, was way too big for the room. I would say this place is small but serviceable. Twice I had to go to the main office during our stay (once for a package of regular coffee as they had only supplied decaf, and the other for water) and each time the office staff was very pleasant and helpful. It's no luxury resort but it was great for an overnight stay.

The most clean and best service for the five hotels we takes on our trip. Owner is very a nice man. Room very clean and quiet. At this price, we are more than happy about the choice.
