The Day after ChristmasPosted Jan 3, 2014
Cons: The room cleanliness and check in staff training
Location: Shopping @ The Colony (promenade mall); various restuarants
I have stayed at the Embassy Suites many times. Usually everything is up to par. However, this stay was different. The room was quite dusty and the furniture in the sitting area was broken. The tile grout in the bathroom was not clean. It seemed as if the room had not been occupied in a while. Apparently the cleaning staff no longer cleaned it due to this fact. Otherwise the premises were as usual.

FANTASICPosted Dec 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Me and my boyfriend were suppose to go to Dallas for my 30th birthday but the winter storm made us cancel.... so we decided that we would stay in town and find somewhere nice to stay... this place is 15mins from my house and we felt like we were out of town...it was GREAT... Beautiful lobby and our room was FANTASTIC... we have decided to have a night away from home at the Embassy at least once a month!!

A detour off I-20 but worth itPosted Dec 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you are traveling through the Jackson area on I-20 and looking for a clean and quiet place to stay overnight, this could be it. This hotel is the 4th of various hotels we've stayed at in the North Jackson area, some of which we've sampled more than once, and this one was the best so far. The surrounding area is pleasant, with restaurants and shopping nearby. The hotel was clean, and the staff were very friendly and pleasant. Cleanliness was evident not only in open areas, but also along the edges where carpet and baseboard meet, the tops of baseboards, and even in the rooms like under the sinks and far corners. We opted for the "Allergy Free Room" and it was a feature definitely worth the extra cost -- for the first time we can report that we had a room that was completely odor free. We would give the hotel higher marks except for the cafeteria-like dining experience.

I had a great enjoyable time... The service was great and the bar/restaurant was very convenient and satisfying! There was a wedding there and it wasn't chaotic or anything! I'm definitely coming back!

Very well locatedPosted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice stay. Centrally located, good food and shopping nearby. The manager's 5:30 to 7:30 cocktail time is very nice and breakfast in the morning is lovely. Altogether worth the money.
