Nicest, most personable staff! Excellent!Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: The comfort and size of the rooms, the staff, the food, and the location
Cons: Have the cleaning staff keep A/C a little higher when checking in. Our room was 61 degrees, which we remedied fairly quickly.
Location: Shopping, Food, The hotel is situated in a very good location!
This hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay for a wedding in Jackson. Located within very close proximity, walking distance, to many shops and restaurants. I cannot express how personable the staff was. They had multiple functions represented over the weekend to a sold out hotel and they remembered where we had been, asked questions about our evening, etc. I overheard them do this with other guests as well. I will recommend this hotel and stay here again when in Jackson!

Dog friendly, but pricey!Posted Jul 31, 2014
We brought our medium size dog with us to the hotel. Upon checkout we were charged an extra $81 for him. They called it a deposit, but it is a fee. I hadn't noticed this when booking or I would've changed hotels. Most places we've stayed charge $20 or $25. This was way too much!

Wonderful midway stopPosted Jul 28, 2014
Kids loved the pool. Breakfast was great. Beds were too firm for my taste, but everyone else slept like logs. We were able to buy a snack at nearly midnight, which really hit the spot.

Clean roomPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Clean, spacious room, friendly crew
Cons: Breakfast variety
Location: not much other than the state capital building
The room was clean and kinda spacious for six of us. The little frige really helps us store some fresh fruits. Complementary breakfast does not taste that great but it helps.

Hotel was okay but needs to be cleanedPosted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: The room set up
Location: Great outdoor shopping area within walking distance along with a couple restaurants.
We had two rooms, one double and one king. Bathroom in the double was not clean. Also the shower did not drain properly. But the room with a king was fine. Bar was out of white wine. Breakfast was not the greatest. The fruit was sour and eggs tasted like rubber. Our kids loved the pool and the outdoor seating area near the pool was great.

Would definitely stay here again!!Posted Jun 7, 2014
I would absolutely stay at this hotel again!!! There are just a few things that weren't awesome (as petty as they may be). 1) the toilet seats are terribly uncomfortable. 2) it says the property is smoke free, but it's not. There is a fenced in smoking area directly off the lounge. 3) the "24 hour room service" is really "24 hour you call and order then walk downstairs and pick it up" (and I think this is expedia's fault because the hotel's website does not call it room service. 4) they do express checkout, which is great, BUT since they don't know when you leave, the maid knocks on your door pretty dang early to see if you have left yet so she can clean. We stayed for 2 nights and one morning the first knock was at 8AM and the second morning it was 930AM. I really enjoy sleeping in so this was a bit of a problem for me. NONE of these problems would stop I would absolutely stay at this hotel again!!! Next door to a beautiful shopping village!Posted May 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
Beautiful, clean and classy. Ii am extremely picky and was very pleased the minute I walled through the door. Our room was even better. Loved the room setup and views. Staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was included and the food spread was very nicely setup. The pool area was very nice and clean. My family and I will diffidently be staying at "The Hyatt" the next time we travel to Mississippi. The location couldn't be in a better place.

Family FunPosted May 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were having a sleep over for teenage girls. The staff wanted to make it a point to remind us we were in a hotel, because the girls were spraying each other with silly string & some of it went into the hallway. The girls were rowdy, but managed to have a good weekend. We didn't play in their pool; we wanted to avoid breaking any of their additional rules. So we went to one of the local surrounding area pools.
