Great place you may never stop to stay.Posted Jan 27, 2014
Rifle, Co. is a pretty small town and one you may never take the time to stop at. However, me and my 6 yr old son stayed there due to hotel availability in Aspen and Glenwood Springs for the X Game 2014. Staff was super nice. Breakfast was hot, bread and bagels where not stale, and our bed/room was great. Pool was cold and hot tub was on the blink. For a 6 yr old and Dad on a guys weekend that is a BIG deal. All together a place I will be going back to weather or not rooms are available in the nose lifting towns mentioned before.

Pros: Comfortable bed and furnishings.
Cons: No scented products used for bathroom cleaning or laundry detergents.
Location: It is in western Colorado people, there are many outside recreation possibilities each season including a recreation path next to the hotel.
I needed a place to stay for the night during a snow stormy day in Western Colorado along I-70. I almost always have my black lab Kiko with me so the room description is for one of the "dog roooms" The dog rooms may all be in the north end of the building which gets road noise from I-70. This room #225 had a small rug stain and there were some places that needed a touch up of paint. This La Quinta was mostly empty as it is probably more crowded in the summer. But few customers means a quieter stay. I like La Quinta in general because they seem to use less heavily scented bathroom cleaners and laundry detergents which contain phthalates toxins. Phthalates boost and extend the life of fragrances but disrupt our endocrine systems, which among other things, includes reproductive health. Phthalates are made from benzene, a carcinogenic chemical made from gas. Do you know how hard it is to get that perfumed smell from your clothes and bags and pets after staying in some hotels? Do you know how hard it is to get the smell of gas out of your clothes after a small spill? It is the phthalates in both cleaning chemicals and gas.

Bacterial InfectionPosted Jan 12, 2014
The hotel room and staff was very pleasant, but my whole family got a bacterial infection from the pool/hot tub.

Pros: Very good breakfast.
Every night a different hotel while we were traveling. This one was the best. Neat, clean, friendly and a very good breakfast with lots of choices.

Respite after a long dayPosted Sep 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
We arrived at this location late at night after a heavy downpour, on our motorcycles, and the Asst. Manager had anticipated our arrival and had our contract, room keys, etc. ready for us. He understood our need to be able to view our bikes all night and made a room assignment that facilitated that need. The next morning he offered us towels to dry off our bikes and was very friendly. The room of large and comfortable, the staff was friendly, the hot breakfast was very satisfying and offered a great selection of meal items, and plenty of room so you weren't shoulder-to-shoulder with the other breakfast guests. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!
