“Where to stay in Riga”

I just had a short break in Riga and stayed in the Radisson Blue Daugava. Just across the river from the Old Town (where their is two other Radisson hotels ...) and with a fine view of it, it was away from the frantic bustle of the tourist zone - but handily placed to go there ! The service was, as expected, both impeccable and friendly. A pleasant stay !

Area recommendations

The old town is lovely - as they generally are - clean and well maintained. The Muzeum of occupation, by the river provides a sad counterpoint to the "western' feel of the city today

“Enjoyed the hotel, and the proximity to Old Riga, very much”

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. The hotel is always consistent in quality, and the quality is good. The price to quality is excellent with Old Riga just across the bridge, an easy walk, without paying Old Riga hotel prices. I plan to stay here again on our next visit to Riga.

Area recommendations

I love the history and architecture of Old Riga. I also enjoy the Baltic city of Jurmala.

“Extremely satisfied”

Staff was very helpful, the room was great and had a wonderful view of the old city, the breakfast buffet had a nice selection of food.
