Great hotel for all ages
Posted Jan 3, 2012
Pros: The free drink and snacks from the bar every evening from 7 til 9pm were nice!
Location: Very central location
We stayed for 5 nights in the hotel - 2 adults and 2 children (age 11 & 12). We loved the hotel - I think it's about 3 years old and it still looked clean and new. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on the food. There is a supermarket just along from the hotel so we sometimes got bits from there and eat breakfast on the balcony. The swimming pool is not that big but is adequate for the amount of rooms in the hotel (and I think when we were there in August it was full). The hotel is on the main road but once the patio doors are shut you really don't hear a lot of noise and it's very convenient for the restaurants and also the frequent bus service.

Must-stay in Rimini!

The Mercure is fantastic - the rooms were big, spotlessly clean, with great amenities and spacious bathroom. The hotel offered complementary "aperitivi" from 7-9pm (1 drink per person, with various hors d'oeuvres and snacks). Breakfast (not included) is served until noon, which is great for all the late-night party-goers. I travel often throughout Italy, and this was by far the friendliest staff we encountered. It was a wonderful experience!

My sister and I had an excellant stay here. Staff extremely helpful, pool area spotless. Room was spacious with a large balcony with view of the sea. If we were to come back to Rimini we would def choose this hotel again.

Mecure Artis - Rimini
Posted Jan 26, 2011 on Hotels.com
We had a wonderful 3 day stay at this modern hotel with a Superior Room + Balcony overlooking the sea. Short ride from the airport to the hotel can be easily done by bus for 1 euro or Taxi for 20 euro. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool at the front was relaxing and well hidden from passing traffic and local shops opposite the road. No dinner served but this made us explore the very close selection of restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlours which offered a fantastic and tasty local food delights. Highly recommend Amico Pizzeria (restaurant), 3 BIS (Ice cream) and Vespucci Cafe opposite the hotel for coffee and pastries. Shortish walk into Rimini Centre or even quicker by bus. Perfect getaway.

The Mercure Artis Hotel - A truly wonderful hotel!
Posted Jan 25, 2011 on Hotels.com
My wife and I have just spent 4 wonderful nights at The Mercure Artis Hotel in Rimini. From the moment we arrived the whole experience was one of complete satisfaction. The staff were friendly, welcoming and throughout our stay, could not do enough to help make our holiday a wonderful experience........and always with friendly smile on their face! The hotel itself is very clean and modern & our room was excellent.......large bright with a wonderful sea view and a huge balcony on two sides. Probably the only criticism was that the balcony overlooked a road along the promenade and it could get noisy at night and first thing in the morning with traffic and at night with late night revellers........but this could hardly be blamed on the hotel! There was a small but adequate heated pool in the front of the hotel with ample sun bathing area and sun beds & the beach was excellent. All in all we had a wonderful time at the Artis Hotel and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone & would have no hesitation in returning there in the future.
