Finca la Anita is a truly remarkable place, that felt more like a home than a hotel. Ana and Pablo, our hosts, made us feel most welcome from the second we arrived. After a long, nearly day and a half of travel, we were greeted by warm smiles, hot coffee, and fresh roasted macadamia nuts. The views were breathtaking. The cabins tastefully done, clean, and comfortable. The food delicious, fresh, and all natural. The people helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Ana and Pablo were a wealth of information, and recommended amazingly beautiful day trips. Our travel guide book became unnecesary. The ranch was difficult to get to, but worth every single bumpy road. Finca la Anita was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences we've ever had on vacation.

This place is absolutely a delight! The hosts, Ana and Pablo are so warm and friendly, and were totally dedicated to making our stay comfortable, and fun. The food was homemade, and outstanding. The bungalows are clean, simple, beautiful, and very comfortable. Loved lounging in the hammock on the front porch. When you stay at La Anita - you are staying at a Rain Forest Farm. It is lush and full of life, and very serene and peaceful. We can't wait to go back some day!

Although you can reach the lodge by public transportation (bus), a 4x4 is needed for visiting the National Park. Some roads are very rough. The owners Pablo and Ana are very helpful in organizing excursions.

We had a wonderful time. Poblo and family are fantastic hosts. This is not a hotel experience. It is like family. You will learn a fantastic amount about Costa Rica and about all of Central America. Their farm is amazing, the food great and the setting well worth the drive. If you really want to feel Costa Rica, this is the place!
