“Very impressed”

Great staff, they were very helpful and accommodating. The room was tidy and comfortable. The location was very good, close to Ipanema. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff were very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. The hotel breakfast was great - a good balance between western and Brazilian choices. Our room had wooden floors and were immaculate. If GREEN is of concern, they have some good practices in place already - there is an option to not have your towels washed everyday and their hallway lights are "people (or motion?) sensitive" (they only light up when there are people in it and only at the particular area where the people are then they automatically turn off shortly are you leave the hallway). The hotel location was perfect for what the city offers - close to Praia do Copacabana (about 5 minutes walk, other beaches are easily accessible by bus or cab), a church, supermarkets, post office, and many bus stops including the shuttle bus to the airport. There is even a very helpful tourist information center nearby. There were many shops within walking distance. There were also good places to eat in the area and some are a short bus ride away. Fairs are nearby - the Hippie Fair on Sunday was a short bus ride away. Popular tourist attractions are within a bus ride away as well as places where locals go. For the price we paid, it was worth the trip!

Really liked our stay. The hotel was very clean, the room comfortable, the staff friendly. The only minus was the piscina. Very small, not for swimming.

the location of the hotel is very good. about a 10 minute walk from the beach. the bus stop to the airport is very close to the hotel. the rooms are nice and clean. nice shower. unfortunately there is not free pick up from the hotel but the bus is pretty cheap to take (air conditioned and comfortable)... 6 reals. the breakfast there is excellent. internet is available to use. the only thing i didnt like was not being able to mail postcards from the hotel.

The Hotel is a 200 metres from the Copacabana beach one way and the same distance to Rio Sul shopping mall the other.It's walking distance to the sugar loaf. The Hotel is clean and friendly, the bar and pool are small but ok.Good Value

“Good for the price”

Even though this hotel is not on the best Copa location it is ok for the price. Taxis are available at the front door and all the scary stories you hear about Rio are all urban legends. I walked around freely, took cabs, went to the beach and nothing happened.

Helpful and nice staff and convenient location. Short walking distance to Copacabana beach. A little to noisy if You have a room on the street side.

This hotel was good value, and close to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. The room was ok, but faced the road and was noisy as the window did not close properly. Overall an Ok place to stay.

“Not worth a 3”

Bought my own soap Charge for local 3 calls when you only make 2 Charge for room safe when there is a safe in your room Breakfast was horrible cold coffee and same junk
