“Good choice for business”

This is one of the best "business hotels" I have stayed in. Clean, friendly, efficient, with a very spacious room and work area, with a good broadband connection (for a modest fee). Although there was a problem in my room, a non functioning security locker, the speed and courtesy with which it was resolved quite honestly served to enhance my favorable view of the hotel. This end of Botafogo is not as attractive as the beach areas of Copacabana or Ipanema/Leblon. But as a base for business travel around different areas of the city, the location proved very convenient. Wholeheartedly recommended.

“Good business hotel”

good business hotel though not the greatest location if you only have a few days in RIo. Location is a bit tricky.

“Nice business hotel”

Nice business hotel; we stayed 4 nights. Good overall experience though I found the staff at reception relatively unequal in being able to provide information on travel within Rio to tourist destinations (including sambadorum). Lots of confusion and very disappointing experince at check out when staff couldn't track nights paid through Expedia and nights paid separately. Left a bad feeling at end of stay. Otherwise, room was very nice, large; excellent a/c and view on Corcovado which was great.

“They didn't have the room ready for my checkin time”

The main issue was not having the room ready when I arrived, even after their check in time. Overall the location is good and everything was fine. I didn't eat anything there.

“OK”

Large room. a plus. Interent was not cheap. I went with it because the hotels on the beach where so expensive. The hall lights were always off, and only turned on by motion. SO you would basically be walking into the dark, and 5ft behind you the light would finally come on. Not to many places to walk to get a bit to eat. It is an OK hotel, mainly a place to sleep. Would NOT stay if on vacation. My room the safe was not attached to anythings. So I could put my money in it, and someone could simply take the safe out the door. Seemed like only one at the fromt spoke good english, others tried. I would probably stay again for a short business trip. It is slightly closer to the GIG than the Beach Hotels which is a plus for traffic and getting back.

“Awful hotel”

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Service and rooms are awful.
