My shower did not have any hot water. When i went to the front desk they said there was nothing they could do about it. My room also didnt have a blanket. The toilet also has a lot of issues

Absolutely TERRIBLE. They claim to have parking, but its only about 20 spots and the cars can't get in or out freely without playing puzzle and removing all cars that are blocking the ones in the front, garanteed parking was the only reason we chose this dump. DIRTY! The towels and sheets have stains, the floors are sticky, everything inside the rooms are falling apart, dirty or stained, and I mean everything. The location is terrifying, people defecate and urinate on the streets, the restaurants around the area have roaches, we did not feel safe (pay the extra money and stay elsewhere). The one positive is the breakfast, simple but good.

Good budget option near the airport
This hotel is pretty basic, but check in was easy and the wifi was good. It's good value for the money. The room was a bit small with no window. But the shower was hot. The service was good and the staff was nice. The free breakfast was very simple. The location is good for meeting an uber. There are a few restaurants on the street. There are 3 grocery stores a short walk from the hotel. The place is a bit run down but it's safe and pretty quiet.

Our room was poor - leaking toilet which flooded bathroom floor constantly Beds only covered with sheets, no blankets Door knobs fell off doors Noisy guests and thin walls (however this stay was during the World Cup) Intermittent hot water with showers, and for one day, no access to water via taps at as hotel was renovating therefore we couldn't have showers

Cockroach infested hotel.
Worst hotel, motel or hostel that my wife & I have ever stayed in our lives. We have traveled much of the world from luxury hotels to hostels, and when we booked 4 months prior the World Cup final, this was the only hotel that was left on Expedia, so our expectations weren't high to begin with. The rooms were exactly as described, very basic with 4 single beds and no windows, very hostel-like. However, there's a certain standard of cleanliness that any hotel, motel or hostel should have. Not only did they not clean our room during our stay, but it was infested with cockroaches! When I told the hotel about it, they just laughed and gave me a can of Raid. The main problem was the bathroom, which had a weak and shaky toilet, and when flushed, water would come out of the bottom of the toilet and go into a drain in front of it, which is where the cockroaches came from. We had to use towels to block all those holes and gaps, and spray Raid to fumigate daily to come back to the hotel to several dead cockroaches every night. And to cap off this horrendous experience, I've come back home eaten alive by bed bugs. Again, our expectations for this hotel were low, as this hotel is more of a hostel, but the cleanliness & cockroach infestation made it the absolute worst hotel experience ever. Wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.

You get what you pay for...
Pros: -Big Bathroom -Nice Staff - Relative safe neighborhood (very close to a police station) - Metro station at walking distance (like a 10 min walk) -Very close to bars and restaurants (I think there's a few on the same block) -Very good atmosphere -The room was spacious -Mini bar prices were reasonable Cons: -Their WiFi tends to fail, it did get better towards the end of the visit though (maybe they fixed it) -Their cleaning crew was very small and sometimes they didn't get to clean our room (this I didn't care for, but I'm sure some of you might) -Their windows don't close shut and MOSQUITOS are a constant problem (specially at night) -They tried to over-charge me for the room, but changed their position when I produced a printed copy of my reservation with the price already listed this was cheap hotel and I know it, and to some extent, I was expecting some of the stuff I mentioned, however, what I did not expect was NO ONE THAT SPOKE ENGLISH (or at least made the attempt) Look I just think that if you are in the hotel business, this is a must. I also speak fluent spanish and they kind of understood what I would say, but still!!!!

a good middle ground
In the downtown/centro area, so not right on the beach, but 20 minute walk to the beach in the harbor and easy metro or cab ride to the Copacabana/Ipanema area at a much cheaper price than staying in those areas. The room was nothing fancy, but again, it was just fine considering the amount of money we saved versus a luxury hotel.

Will never stay here again.
1. The location of the hotel is terrible. It is not near any beaches and the stores around the hotel serve strange people. 2. The condition of the hotel is terrible. The rooms were very very small (it felt like prison cells), beds were far too soft, the toilet door could not be closed properly, toilet was too small, almost all of the walls had mold growing on them, there was no room service for the 3 nights that we were staying there. 3. The price of the hotel was costly for the things that we got.

Solid option
The hotel is centrally located just off the downtown area, short walk to the metro and convenient for taxis to/from the airport, the beach, other neighborhoods and tourist attractions, etc. It was definitely not luxurious but got the job done and was definitely one of the cheapest options we could find during the world cup (less than $200 a night versus like $700 for hotels in Copacabana).

Most of the staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Room conditions were the worst I have ever stayed in. There was actually a mushroom growing out of the corner in the bathroom because of the humidity. Old mattresses and a dirty bathroom stall that I took a shower with sandals being scared to step in there. Musky smell in the hallways. I am sure there was mold because my allergies sure were acting up. Location is sort of central. Lots of homeless living in the immediate streets.

An outrageous price compared to the hotel accommodations. Tile the bathroom is broken and all around, In the furnished, shower towel - is be damp. Even so, he did cleaning is working hard to do the same hotel staff.

An exception
The staff here were very nice especially the tall bold headed African decent gentleman. When ever asked for a direction to a place, he can never go wrong. He was my best guide and he is honest. I wish the toilet was not almost against the wall and the toilet paper holder. Need some hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothing and towels and no construction noise at 8 p.m.. I believe it newly taken over by a new management and they are in the middle of repairing and renovating. It was an exceptional stay and not that bad of an area. Not too crowded a comfortably stay I may say. I'll go back to this place without hesitating. You have to be there only to sleep and when not, you should be out on a tour or shopping. A very tinny window and you can't see out.is not bad at all. Very cozy place, but not the top of the line.

The hotel is in a good area with a lot of shops and restaurants around. Far from copa cabana beach but in the perfect area to get to lapa night clubs! The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and very helpful! The staff cleaning the rooms were not so much. The facility is in bad conditions and rooms are very small. The towels seemed to be stained and so were sheets on the beds and even after the room had been cleaned.

Nice to have roof over my head during carnaval
The hotel is very basic, it smells of mold in the elevator, and both my room and the common areas were very shabby. The staff doesn't speak English or at best a few words. The location is at the boundary of the city center and the immediate surroundings are pretty run down. My first sight upon arrival was of a probably drunk man, lying on the sidewalk near the hotel sleeping or unconscious. On the positive side the neighborhood improves a short distance away, the hotel is close to the SambaDromo and relatively close to the metro, and finding a place to stay during carnaval isn't easy. The staff was trying to be helpful, the air-conditioning worked, and the breakfast is ample if repetitive.

Estadia razoável, a maçaneta da porta do banheiro quebrou e não tinha como usar, foi preciso chamar o recepcionista no meio da madrugada, pra consertar, ele não conseguiu, e tivemos que usar o banheiro do quarto ao lado. O café da manhã muito fraco, café frio e sem ovos mexidos e poucas opções.

Quarto mal conservado, com reboco caindo. Ar condicionado barulhento, piso muito gasto. Vaso sanitário quebrado, colado com massa epóxi. Sinal do Wi-Fi não chega no quarto. Chegamos no sábado, de madrugada. Conversei com o recepcionista se haveria a possibilidade de adiantar o café da manhã da segunda-feira, uma vez que sairíamos no Domingo à noite. Ele disse que teria que falar com o gerente. O rapaz me deixou esperando quase uma hora, até que voltei a perguntar e ele disse que não era possível. No sábado descemos para tomar café e nem quiseram saber o número do meu quarto. Um lugar para ser evitado.

Primeiro não é nada que mostra nas fotos do hotéis.com, cheguei la o quarto estava com cheiro de mofo, sem ventilação, pedi para mudar de quarto o outro era enorme porém tinha ventilação mas o banheiro Deus me livre sujo, pedi para limpar e não foram, não funciona serviço de quarto e nem a cozinha a noite, ou seja la fica longe de restaurantes e lugares para comer, o hotel oferece porém não tem cozinheira, foi o fimmmm… por ser um hotel que está nos hotéis.com pensei que seria ótimo. O café bem simples, nem sanduicheira tinha, poderia melhorar!!!! Esse hotel está muito antigo até baratinhas tinha no meh quarto, deveriam avaliar isso. Não volto e nem indico.

Gente, de todo coração, caso você viaja com dinheiro reservado para aproveitar, não reserve nesse hotel, ao menos que você possa trocar de hotel depois. As fotos não condizem com a realidade, estrutura totalmente precária, nem cobertor oferecem, quarto e banheiro com mofo, colchão uma palha, odor muito forte e a limpeza praticamente não existe. Além disso, o café da manhã também não é bom. Sugiro fortemente que procurem outra opção as fotos não correspondem com a realidade.

Me hospedaram em um quarto, que o banheiro não tinha luz! Com uma banheira desativada e uma sauna desativada cheia de teia de aranha!! Móveis antigos, tudo precisa de uma reforma! Pedi para mudar de quarto! O estacionamento é grátis, porém se você sair com carro pode ser que quando volte não tenha mais vaga! É rotativo e tem que deixar q chave na recepção! No fim andei foi APP Os funcionários no geral são educados.
