A boutique hotel located in a very convenient, walkable area in Ipanema (safer than Copacobana) - only 2 blocks away from the beach. Excellent breakfast with diverse selections. Very friendly front desk staff.

Very good location, easy to walk to. Beach, can also walk to Leblon or copacabana easily. Easy for Uber pick up and drop off aswell. Breakfast was good. Room was small but perfectly fine for our stay. Would recommend for staying in Ipanema.

The hotel is a great value. Very convenient to the beach, shopping and great restaurants. The housekeeping is also great, keeps room very clean. Friendly staff. Feels like family and home.

Best hotel in Ipanema
Hotel Vermont is one of my favorite hotels, I love everthing about it. The location, the rooms are spacious and very clean, the shower is piping hot, the breakfast is AMAZING.

The location was perfect; two blocks from the beach, 4 blocks from Lagoa, and surrounded by assorted restaurants. The breakfast was well presented with a great assortment of items, and the coffee was great. The staff was helpful, many being bi-lingual and some being tri-lingual.

I have stayed at this hotel 5 times now. It’s an amazing location near Ipanema beach and great restaurants and shops. It’s always clean, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always excellent. Highly recommended!

Only issue I had with the hotel is they don't allow visitors. But life goes on the breakfast buffet is Phenomenal totally worth it. The music in the lobby area great.

The area was probably the safest option for staying in Rio, but still have to take precautions. The breakfast was excellent but prefer my scrambled eggs a little more done. Plenty of reasonable restaurants close by, beach area was nice but weather didn’t cooperate. People were very friendly, even though I don’t speak Portuguese.

This hotel was a good find. Great location and great cost/benefit, compared to other pricy hotels in Ipanema. Installations are all in order and looking new. My bathroom was a bit on the small size, but I suppose it is because I was in a room for a single person. Attentive staff and always very polite. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay and I totally recommend it. I will definitely come back next time I come to Rio de Janeiro.

Not spacious. the breakfast room with too many tables during a time social distancing is required. I used the stairs to avoid the small elevator, and there were some mattresses and chair stored on the side. I didn't appreciate that.

Quiet stay in a busy area
The hotel's location is great. Lot's of business at their door step and a short walk to the beach and Lagoa. My room was located in the back, which was good because it was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay at Rio
Excellent option for your stay at Ipanema. Quiet place and close from markets, restaurants and beach. The hotel also have the towels and beach umbrella to be used without charges.

Peobably the most overpriced hotel ever
Worst hotel experience ever. Paper thin walls and doors for a noisy experience, a completely broken mattress that makes you roll out of bed, smallest room with no space to place luggage, dirty towels with yellow spots and holes in them, extremely rude reception, incredibly overpriced.

The hotel's best features include its reasonable cost and excellent location. It is located between two subway stations and a couple of blocks from the beach. It is surrounded by a variety of restaurants, and all manner of stores.

Great position for the beach without traffic noise
Everything was good, room was small but everything worked ok, shower was hot and very strong. Breakfast was awesome. Great Wi-fi . Staff are brilliant.
