Cockroaches ! Con’s- This is an awful property- don’t get conned by the facade or entrance ! Staff unhelpful - ask anything “ wait for manager who starts work at 09:00-can’t help you “ don’t care if your tour starts before , Holes in the wall 2ft hole exposed to out behind loud air conditioner, toilet -> You can hear others & inappropriate sounds coming thro as top ceiling of the toilet is a grill - not sure if others can actually see you !! Hear people all the time / plus bedroom wall paper thin- hear phones ringing next door !- Privacy ? No coffee in room or kettle Little or no proper charging unit in room They ring you incessantly 1/2 hour before check out time. Old building Probably ideal for 1 level above back packer hostel. Pros - Close to Beach Small pool on floor 14( not 13) 3 star breakfast only No - we wouldn’t stay here or recomend it

People at the front desk don’t care about the cuatomer, after a long flight I was ready to get some rest, Front desk don’t do nothing to help out with early check in, there were a lot of ppl waiting to check in, they told us to wait till 3pm, We waited, but by the time was 3pm there were 2 guests that arrive that time, and rhey get their rooms before all the people that were waiting for more than 2 hours. My room wasn’t ready because they’re “cleaning it “ when I get to the room bathroom dirty, I found other people hair in the sink, shower was leaking, glassdoor was with water, I stepped out next day, I came back to the room it wasn’t cleaned, I saw the lady on my floor, I went down to the lobby, almost 2 hours down there, I went up again, my room was still not cleaned, I called the front desk to get some towels, soap and shampoo, I told them not to clean anymore, I needed some rest.

They made an unauthorized charge on my card for US$35 to check in an hour early, and then I was harassed when trying to check out by the rudest staff imaginable, who made me late for my flight. I would rather sleep on the street then visit that hotel again.

Would think twice before I stay there again!
I was asked to wait till 3 pm to check in, front desk allowed a couple to check in sooner. That left me with a bitter taste about the place. The bathroom had no toilet paper. The excercise room was inoperable the whole time I was there. I had asked for a single bed and was given twin beds. Breakfast was good but the plates for the main entre werebread plates making it difficult to get any food on the plate.

Check-in: fast, very good, great staff at desk early evening. Late night staff were incredibly rude, tossed cash at me when I asked for change after buying a water bottle. - Cleanliness: lobby is ok, elevator and other areas leading to my room smell like mould/very old carpet, room was ok but shower was dirty with hair stuck to the walls and a blocked drain. Very unpleasant. - Wi-Fi: flaky at best, doesn't always work but enough to read emails and write a review. - Room: air-con does not work! Too small for this room size, temperature in the room was over 30 degrees all night. I tried different settings, the thing just can't cope, might as well just let me open the windows. Power fittings in the bathroom falling off, electrocution hazard. - Noise: not too bad, a bit of background noise from the streets. Location: I can see the sea and could walk down to the beach in about 5 minutes, nice neighbourhood

Great staff.. helpful and friendly
Despite the language barrier staff were friendly and helpful.some did speak English and others tried.breakfast was good, no complaints. I would for sure recommend this hotel.Fairly central to most attractions. Two blocks roughly to the beach.

Royal Treatment
Very nice hotel - good price, excellent location near Metro and Copacabana Beach. Staff very accommodating and handled by late booking very professionally. Nice restaurant and good breakfast. Only downside is the internet in the room does not work but there is a pc in the lobby.

Checkin was terrible. I had my expedia confirmation in an e-mail and they claimed not to have it on their reservation system. The staff at the front desk was not nice at all. I had to call Expedia from a borrowed phone to have someone from Expedia call the hotel. Finally the hotel ackowledged they had the reservation. The hotel looks old. It seem to want to keep a 4 star rating by having bellboys and a pool while having very old and poorly renovated facilities. The room was poorly decorated. Beth clothing was terrible. A/C was an old window type.

My flight arrived early in the morning i know check in time was 2pm when everyone has checked out for the day and given time to clean the room that i understand.when i arrived at the hotel they don't have my confirmation number and the front desk don't speak english not even a complimentary coffee like other hotels.the room is ok but the bedsheets are not big enough to cover the bed when you wake up in the morning you are already sleeping on the mattres .breakfast is ok since it's only coffee that ineed. Noise level you can hear the conversation from ur next room.my safety deposit box is broken and i have to keep my passport and money with me all the time.

Everything is broken and everything comes at extra
Everything is broken; got stuck in the lift, the TV didn't work, balcony door broken and could not close, there was no more coffe at breakfast at 9am, $5 to get a shirt ironed and it took them 2 hours, internet cost R$10 a day, bathroom was very dirty, they all the time tried to make us pay for extra services, I got so tired of it! I have stayed in so many nice hotels in Rio, and this is far the worse. Avoid.

Minha estadia foi okay, mas tenho algumas ressalvas sobre o hotel. Ele tem uma ótima localização, restaurantes, bares, mercados, lojas e até mesmo a praia é próximo, e tem uma facilitação de se locomover para os bairros próximos e pontos turísticos. A piscina do hotel é maravilhosa, com uma vista belíssima. No quarto que nos hospedamos não estava completamente limpo, roupas de cama velhas e ruins, o ar fazia muito barulho. O café da manhã que o hotel oferecia era ruim, pão murcho, bolo seco e pouca variedade. Funcionários educados só não muito solícitos.

FALTA O OLHO E CONSCIÊNTIZACAO DOS DONOS.
Lamentável que um hotel com pouco mais de 40anos esteja numa situação deplorável de higiene , limpeza e conservação. O ar condicionado faz mais barulho do que condiciona( horrível pra dormir). No banheiro o box esta com os azulejos imundos e não tem prateleira para colocar shampoo, etc.. O CAFE da manhã é fraco, os pães são duros e não há pão integral. Enfim um hotel com +de 130 quartos , em Copacabana, estar em estado de conservação deplorável.

Experiência totalmente decepcionante e frustrante. Hotel no coração de Copacabana com uma estrutura e atendimento de tirar do sério. No check in, ficamos cerca de 1 hora aguardando para sermos atendidas, sem que a recepção estivesse sequer cheia. Ao chegar no quarto, o ar-condicionado não funcionava (o funcionário nos disse que estava sem funcionar há 6 dias e não houve qualquer reparo), a porta do quarto só abria com "macete"/"jeitinho" que nem a camareira conseguiu abrir, o banheiro estava com mal cheiro. Demorou mais 30 minutos para mudarmos de quarto. Na área de lazer, a luz do banheiro feminino da piscina tinha mal contato e não se mantinha acesa, a sauna não ligava sozinha (a equipe precisou ir ligar com "jeitinho") e por estar desligada demorou no mínimo uma hora para aquecer, a área de academia só tinha UM ÚNICO equipamento e estava trancada. No anúncio do aplicativo, consta que o hotel disponibiliza barraca e toalha para uso na praia, mas a equipe informou que não. Café da manhã super fraco, sem opções. No checkout, lentidão absurda no atendimento, hóspedes acumulados sem poder sair. Não disponibilizam toalhas extras para a área de piscina. O bar da área de lazer estava fechado durante os dois dias que ficamos hospedadas. Em resumo: NADA FUNCIONAVA, hotel pedindo com urgência por manutenção e obras.

O hotel não é lá grandes coisas. A única coisa boa, é somente a localização. O quarto estava sujo, camas com cheiro de modo e ainda achei uma traça andando na cama. Banheiro também sujo e havia cabelo no ralo no box. Elevador muito antigo e faz muito barulhos e arrancoes. Café da manhã simples. Infelizmente não volto e não recomendo.

O hotel é velho. Muito velho, a ponto de ser sujo. Faltam opções salgadas no café da manhã, pão de queijo por exemplo. O atendimento da equipe é excelente, mesmo com o hotel lotado. O frigo bar é um roubo! O mais caro da minha vida, 10 reais uma garrafinha de água de 300ml, sim TREZENTOS ml.

Minha estadia no hotel foi decepcionante. O check-in foi normal, com funcionários educados, mas o check-out foi problemático. O quarto apresentava sérios problemas, incluindo baratas no banheiro e no móvel do frigobar, cortina quebrada e suja, além de barulho vindo de uma reforma no banheiro, que era inadequada para um feriado. A academia tinha apenas um aparelho, e o café da manhã era perturbado, com funcionários retirando itens da mesa enquanto as pessoas ainda comiam. Apesar de o hotel afirmar ter 4 estrelas, a realidade estava muito aquém disso. Escolhi o hotel pela localização, mas minha pior experiência ocorreu no check-out. Mesmo com um atraso de apenas 38 minutos, a recepção ligou várias vezes e bateu na porta, sendo rude ao mencionar uma taxa de R$ 200, sem justificar. Quando questionei o valor, o funcionário foi extremamente grosseiro, e a situação se tornou constrangedora, especialmente diante do meu marido estrangeiro que não fala bem o português. Na saída (atraso de 38 minutos), ofereci pagar a taxa atrasada, mas pedi uma justificação, já que a diária custava R$459 (Hoteis.com), enquanto a placa na recepção indicava R$502. O funcionário foi rude, alegando que o valor da placa era insignificante e apenas evitava que o hotel fosse visto como um motel. Isso foi constrangedor. Decidimos entrar com um processo contra o hotel devido à nossa total insatisfação e à grosseria do funcionário.

O Quarto poderia ter mais conforto o ar condicionado as vezes esfriava, as vezes não. O Banheiro com tampa da privada menor que o vaso e ja bem marcada. A limpesa nao foi realizada por completo, houve momentos que so realizou a retirado do lixo do banheiro.
