Okay hotel, close to my friend's apartment.Posted Jul 7, 2014
The room had a weird smell; the sheets were stained; the television did not work; there were small insects (spiders, beetles, etc); and the toilet tissue was never replenished.

Hotel staff (all except one) was not helpful. There are severl other better hotels in that area close to the price we were paying.

I found a bed bug in the room I stayed in. I said something to the person at the front desk and asked for a refund. She said the manager wasn't there, and I would have to call.

I had a second floor room with a balcony and it was heaven to be able to sit on the balcony and catch some sun. The location could not be better and the hotel is quirky and has a lot of character, if e bit musty round the edges. I was very happy there and would come again. Recommended!

The staff was very friendly and the price could not be beaten if you compare it to the Mission Inn. Do not expect a hotel. It is a motel. has great potential if some money was invested in it. But the landsaping and overall upkeep was pretty bad. It seemed as though people live there full time and made it a little uncomfortable. The sink only had hot water so it made it difficult to brush our teeth and wash our faces.

I got what I expected for the price and time of availability. The cable wasn't working but I didn't take the time to mention it to hotel staff. The hotel charges for access to the ice machine - and the staff laughed about it when I seemed surprised.

Dirty towel from prior occupant folded in my room. Disgusting! I figured it out too late and dried myself with it before I noticed the old makeup stains and leftover ring from someone's previous drink. Called to inform manager of the issue and possibly get a clean towel. She said she had not additional towels available at 7 in the morning. I was told to leave it out so she could inform her cleaning people. No apologies, whatsoever. I tried hinting that I suppose I could share a towel with my husband, however, she did not pick up on my subtle hint at all. NEVER GOING BACK! It was clear they do not care about their motel as owners. Very dirty and needs remodeling, desperately.

Great location if you're going to the Fox. The bed wasn't great and the blinds and walls are too thin.
