Not worth the money I paid

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: Everything. This place is disappointing for the price I paid. If they are going to charge higher prices for rooms with spa tubs, they should work.
Location: The location is good. Near downtown and highway on/off ramp
When I first check in, I noticed that the room didn't have any clothes hangers or an alarm clock. when I called the desk to request the items they said they would bring them right over. After about a half hour I went to the desk to ask for the items because I had someplace to be and couldn't just wait around. I was given 4 hangers that I had to make due with. There was no closet, just a small wardrobe what I had to fold my clothes over the hanger to keep from dragging on the floor. The spa tub in the room only had 3 working jets and it took forever to fill just half way because the water ran so slowly through the jets to fill the tub. The coffee maker, a small one cup, was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. It was disgusting. At least the room had a microwave that I could heat water to make coffee. There was one garbage can by the sink, none by the desk or other area of the room, and there was no Kleenex. When I asked house keeping they said that they didn't provide Kleenex. I guess they didn't provide hairdryers either because there was none in the room and there wasn't even a plug over the sink to plug up your own. I've never seen a room with no outlet over the sink. They didn't provide pad and pencil like most hotels for making notes. The only good thing about this room was the bed. It was comfortable. When housekeeping came to clean the room (empty the garbage and take towels) they didn't even replace the towels they removed. Not worth the money.

Great place to stay for a pretty reasonable price

Posted Feb 19, 2015
I was a little worried about staying here at first but the staff was very nice they even upgraded my fiancée and I to a king bed room. I'm a bit of a germaphobe when it comes to staying anywhere, but I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place for a great price. I was Pleasantly surprised!

Posted Jan 9, 2015

Good hotel for the price

This is a great hotel if you are trying to get a an above average hotel and not spend crazy money. The overall experience with staff and room itself was quite pleasant. The surrounding area in which the hotel is located is also very convenient because there are tons of places to eat and the hotel is only a few minutes from UC RIVERSIDE.

Dont let the Renovation fool you.

There was nobody at the front desk to greet us. I told the lady to put me where there was nobody around cause i didn't to disturb anybody or be disturbed, got put next to couple with kids so that was fun hearing them all night. i booked it cause they had free Wi-fi. The Carpet had black stains on it, the air conditioner smelled gross like they had not changed the filter in a while. Then after 2 hours of trying to get the Wi-fi going, it couldn't log on. I called them and told them i could not log on, she told she did not have access to the router. Being in the IT field i wanted to quickly handle it but shes in charge so lets see how she fixes it. i wait for 20 minutes and get a phone call, i pick it up and they hang up on me, i checked the internet and nothing. Great Job! the Bathroom fixtures were flimsy, the curtain rail was falling off so the curtain sagged over the tub and water quickly covered the floor...in the morning me and the misses wake up to the smell of feces in our room because the sink started overflowing with dirty water from the upstairs room. At this point we were so done with this place. They asked us if we wanted another room. I told the lady it was pointless being that we had to check out in a few hours. She told me she was going to tell the Manager to talk about what happened and too see if he can give us a reimbursement on our money. I'm still waiting for that phone call.
