“Not great.....”

This motel was old and out of date. The air conditioner had a hard time cooling it off and the windows did NOT open. The carpet on the stairs and down the hallway to our room was dirty, worn and had a ton of pet hair on it. It was very disgusting. The room was basically clean, but was old and scroungy. There was no where to put a suitcase except on the floor. The in-room coffee pot was nice and clean - that was a plus. The bed was hard and not real inviting. I wouldn't go there again.

Area recommendations
There were two new motels out on the edge of town which looked to be much better. Actually, the town of Lander, 25 miles away was clean, kept up and had many options for motels and restaurants. I would stay in Lander the next time I am in the area.
Dining
Very few places to eat in Riverton. Finally went to a pizza place and it was very slow. The pizza was marginal. Should have eaten in Lander.

“Decent place, good value”

The room was fine. The owners were a little crabby when we asked for some breakfast. Seems we just missed the deadline. On the other hand, they pointed us towards a late night place when we arrived so we could eat a late dinner. Overall, no problems. Nice place. I would stay there again. Good value.

Area recommendations
A good diner that is open late and is within a mile or two is called the Trailhead Family Restaurant. The food was good, cheap and fast. The staff were friendly, too.

“Not Impressed”

For the price, they could really stand to upgrade the beds! Very uncomfortable!
