4th of July in Lander

Posted Jul 12, 2013
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their business center is terrific with great internet access.
Cons: The restaurant could definitely be improved in terms of opening hours and what they are serving.
Location: It's located in Lander. There are not a whole lot of things to do near by except the park across the highway. Essentially you will be driving aways
The rooms are really big but have some empty space that could use another chair. I was in a handicapped room and the shower was so large that I could not sit on the seat at one end and reach the shower at the other end. Luckily the shower head has a switch to stop the flow of water temporarily. The bathroom light switch is outside the bathroom and behind the door which seemed odd. There are not separate switches for the light and the exhaust fan. A free breakfast buffett is included in the price but it's not much of a buffett, more of a continental breakfast. The restaurant closes at 1 PM so it's only an option for breakfast and lunch.

Nice Hotel

Posted Sep 20, 2012
Hotel was great but breakfast was disappointing - no general tea bags and waffle batter in cups - looked like it had been sitting for a while, so we didn't have any. No lift to the second floor would be an issue for those who cant use stairs

Helpful after a fire!

Posted Jul 11, 2012
Pros: I loved the view from the room.
Cons: Lack of an elevator
Location: A little hard to get to
Since I am disabled, hauling my luggage up the stairs was problematic. The staff was courteous and helpful in answering questions. They did a fantastic job of hosting a high school renion on very short notice when the original venue burned.

Second Best in Lander

Posted Jun 19, 2012
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Somewhat outdated. Could use some modernizing.
Location: Motel was easy to find and reasonably quiet.
Exterior was a little rundown but rooms were ok. Breakfast was dissapointing. Motel was easy to find and probably the 2nd best to choose from in Lander.

Good Landing in Lander

Posted Jun 16, 2012
Pros: Proximity to Lander, restful
Cons: Parking tight during meetings
Location: Convenient, intermittent truck noise
Rooms in good shape, corridor carpets somewhat worn. Friendly, attentive staff. Ancient TV w/ usual dumb cable channels. AC units are effective and not too noisy. Trucks are accelerating onto highway adjacent to motel, so sometimes noisy, but it's possible to sleep w/ window open on other sides. Free breakfast: bagels/muffins, good scrambled eggs and hash browns, cereal, ok coffee and tea, lousy juice. Restaurant provides full service, but there are much better options 3 blocks away into town or even McDonalds right across the street. Parking can be frustrating, there is not enough for all guests when the conferences rooms are used.

Early Summer 2012

Posted Jun 12, 2012
Pros: Location in relation to planned activities
Cons: Cabin style layout of buildings. No two buildings were actually connected to each other.
Location: Right off of main highway leading into town from the South
Overall it was a nice stay. Only spent about a total of five hours actually at the hotel in a 24 hour period, but the room was clean, no odors, plenty of towels and wash cloths, and the grounds were very well cared for.

Don't know why this is low rated

Nothing wrong with this property or the people. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Heat worked well. On site resaurant. Breakfast buffet was free and good. Very minimal fitness equipment. Just bring your shoes and jog through town.
