over priced

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: Location, clean, very nice staff, decent hot breakfast
Cons: Microwaves and refrigerators in the room.
Location: Lander Wy, close to the Wind River mountains for hiking
booked thru expedia for one rate. When I checked out they were going to charge me almost double that saying they didn't have a rate like I'd booked. They agreed to the expedia rate in the end. There is no microwave or refrigerator in the room. It's just a very basic motel room. Their rate would have been very over priced.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. We just needed a rm for the night while traveling thru wyoming. The chain hotels were book so we settled on this one. It was a little more than i wanted to pay for a stop over but not outrageous. Most importantly, it was clean and the queen beds were comfortable. I would stay here again if im ever in the area again

Restaurant breakfast extremely disappointing!

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Location only. Next time will stay at the new Holiday Inn Express.
Cons: Staff, service, food.
Not only did the fire alarm go off while waiting (A LONG TIME) for our breakfast to be served and the staff did not have the keys ready, and then tried to open the WRONG door to turn off the alarm, never were we told what was happening. Our breakfast orders were not correct, had to ask for changes TWICE. Would have been nice to be told "sorry" or given a discount.

Room was plain. Nothing special. Breakfast was 1 star. 4 blocks from town. Don't miss out on the Lander Bar and Cowfish. 10 minute drive to Sinks Canyon. Climbing and hiking was the reason for our visit.

4th of July in Lander

Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their business center is terrific with great internet access.
Cons: The restaurant could definitely be improved in terms of opening hours and what they are serving.
Location: It's located in Lander. There are not a whole lot of things to do near by except the park across the highway. Essentially you will be driving aways
The rooms are really big but have some empty space that could use another chair. I was in a handicapped room and the shower was so large that I could not sit on the seat at one end and reach the shower at the other end. Luckily the shower head has a switch to stop the flow of water temporarily. The bathroom light switch is outside the bathroom and behind the door which seemed odd. There are not separate switches for the light and the exhaust fan. A free breakfast buffett is included in the price but it's not much of a buffett, more of a continental breakfast. The restaurant closes at 1 PM so it's only an option for breakfast and lunch.

Nice Hotel

Posted Sep 20, 2012
Hotel was great but breakfast was disappointing - no general tea bags and waffle batter in cups - looked like it had been sitting for a while, so we didn't have any. No lift to the second floor would be an issue for those who cant use stairs

Helpful after a fire!

Posted Jul 11, 2012
Pros: I loved the view from the room.
Cons: Lack of an elevator
Location: A little hard to get to
Since I am disabled, hauling my luggage up the stairs was problematic. The staff was courteous and helpful in answering questions. They did a fantastic job of hosting a high school renion on very short notice when the original venue burned.
