Worth the price.Posted Feb 16, 2015
Once we arrived, we canceled our other tours and excursions. Everything you need is here if you're looking for relaxation. The Sands was our favorite of the restaurants, ceviches and fish tacos were amazing, as was the guac/pico plate and the duck confit tacos. It's a splurge to stay at a place like this, but we'll be back.

Beautiful property and was pleased with three bedroom villa. Worked great for our family. Food was expensive but was pretty good. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very clean and loved that they thoroughly cleaned our place every day. Service was excellent.

Great experience! A bit from the beach but the villa with your private pool is worth it

Amazing Place!Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: The villa we had was incredible. We had our own pool and used that some of the time and then used the main pool at the hotel as well.
Cons: The only thing that would have made it better was if there was an adults only pool.
Location: We stayed at the hotel the whole time, but had a couple of dinners at the Rosewood Hotel which was nearby.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It exceeded our expectations by a mile. Accomodations were amazing and staff was unbelievable. We had massages at the spa and they were the best massages that we ever had. We would go back in a second.

Second time back and I would go again. Staff is so friendy and the food is excellent. The masseuses are incredible, they are trained in Thailand. If you stay at the hotel, a massage is a must have experience. The hotel is very elegant and understated with out any commercial hype. The rooms are big and beautifully appointed. The house keeping staff resets the rooms with a zen atmosphere each day and evening. You feel pampered at evey turn.

Luxury at Riviera MayaPosted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: Privacy of the rooms, beaty of canals, variety of birds and animals, spa services
Location: Riviera Maya is full of adventures, Coba pyramids, cenotes, trip to Merida and nearby locations.
Piece of tranquility not expected at Mexico. Huge and beatiful territory, large room with swimming pool, jacuzzi and separate house for receptions. Tours along the canals with birdwatching and crocowatching were awesome. Prices in the restaraunts are high and variety is small (only 2 restaraunts in the hotel with others in the nearby hotels). Beach is exceptionally bad with monstreous structures to protect the sand completely blocking the entrance.
