Not a Luxury CondoPosted Jan 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
This condo property was not as represented and definitely not in the category of a LUXURY condo. It is in an enclosed community. It it not near the beach. It was a 15 minute walk to their beach area. The beach area was self service and they gave you a key to unlock the beach chair. The area was also filled with algae in a little lagoon and most unappealing. There was suppose to be 24 hour front desk. One staff person was there from 8-5 weekdays. Checking out on a Sunday caused us a delay even though we specifically made arrangements. There is no concierge. After we complained, we were able to get towels changed everyday although their policy is to change the one towel every 3 days. We were not able to get extra pillows or towels. The pool and jacuzzi were also disappointing. The jacuzzi was not heated and had a number of broken jets. There were no services at the pool area. Their pool bar has never been used. The info given about the property also states laundry service was available. There is none. We were directed to a laundry service that we needed to drive to or would have been about a 15 minute walk. We were very disappointed that the property was not a listed. On the positive side, the condo was next to a small group of shops and restaurants that made meals easy to accomplish. The overall location might be good if you wanted to use the marina but was not good if your wanted the beach.

Beautiful property for families and couples!Posted Jun 20, 2011
We just returned from a five day stay at the Encanto Club, and it was just lovely. The condo was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The pool, just steps outside our door is great too. Threr are two gas grills, although we did'nt use them, they are there for the asking. A favorite activity was to watch the charter boats come in and unload the catches of the day. Steps awaw is the restaurant 20th Latitude where we were daily. Don't miss the mango margaritas. Hapy hour is 3-7. There is a beach club, or so we were told, but when we asked about chairs at hte beach we were told there were't any at the beach, but they did offer to take some there for us if we wanted, the pool is so nice we just went there everyday.I deffinately would recommend staying at the Encanto Club, and hope to go back soon. Sincerely,Jim H.

Great winter getaway.Posted Mar 23, 2011
We stayed for five nights and six days and enjoyed every moment of this well deserved vacation. The surrounding hotels and beaches in this Marina are great, well kept, the streets are all swept clean, the beaches are immaculate and we felt safe at all times. The locals are very courteous and helpful and most know enough English to be of assistance. The government of the state of Yucatan has to be commended because they have done an excellent job to make this area a tourists destination and no wonder that on average, up to 2000 tourists arrive to the Mayan Riviera every day.

Large condo that was very clean and had everything you could need. Very comfortable king size bed and a bathroom for each bedroom was nice. The location was very close to restaurants, shops, and dolphins. Hang out by the pool and watch the fisherman come back with their daily catch.
