“nice, small, family oriented resort”
perfect location for snorkeling and walking along the beach. Staff was excellent.
“Excellent hotel!”
I wish I can stay there more days, cheap hotel with great benefits... I love it.!
“Will defenitly return!”
This is our second stay at Grand Coco Bay and we had a great time. Due to hurricain Irene we had to saty an extra 5 days since the airport in New York was shut down. This was a bonus and we enjoyed it very much. The staff is very friendly . In addition the food was very good and the resorts close proximity to Quinta Avenida was excellant. Finally Coco Beach is a beautiful beach. I would recommend Grand Coco Bay to anyone .
“nice hotel for the price”
we got a really good deal so we were impressed with all the hotel had to offer...loved that it was soo close to town for shopping. Got to enjoy beach and town and didnt have to get taxi. very safe...streets closed off to traffic so comfy to walk around without worrying about getting hit.
“bad food and slow very very slow service”
rooms are small, food is very very very bad. all buffet foods the mexican food tastes like trash and shrimp tastes like the hot pool
“Awesome”
The hotels location and small size made it ideal for us. The food was good (the Specialty Italian was GREAT and the Mexican meal with the Show on Monday was fab. as well). The hotel staff was awesome, always cheerful and genuinely concerned we were having a good time. They even helped us plan a trip to Tulum using public transportation (collectivos) for basically free, making our trip immensely better than it could have been. For the money, it's the best hotel in Playa we've found.
“Worth it!”
Nice hotel and great location. Great food, good service and fun entertainment. I would say all-inclusive was well worth the price. I would diffently go back if the price was right! Make sure to bring your own drink thermus, drink cups we're like 8oz cups.
“Got Bumped”
We choose this resort because of location and size. We were bumped to another resort which was further away and much larger.
“Cheap!!!!!!”
The drinks were watered down, had to wait alot just to get a drink, the foof was lousy and again had to wait alot for some dishes. The rooms stunk and our clothing took on that same odor. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!! The drinks were so watered down I couldn't get drunk if my life depended on it! The hotel will take your American money in exchange for pesos but won't change your pesos for American money, they say you have to go down on 5th Street to the exchange. This hotel is rotten to the core!
“it had nice beach, quick walk to 5th ave”
it was a nice basic hotel, pool and beach were both nice. it was a 8 minute walk to a bunch of little restaurants and shopping. the location was great.
