I loved everything about this resort. The staff were very personable and cared for you. I was treated very well. The drinks and food were amazing. It was a stunning resort with lots to do. I would say it could have used more events and the club is kinda far make sure to shuttle and not walk. Dianna/diane I forgot she was so helpful getting us reservations. Highly recommend this resort!

The reason why I didn’t read it a five star was because our room was a bit dirty. The AC was not functioning properly and they did not install the shower gel or shampoo. We had to call three times to get that repaired. Other than that. The facilities are beautiful. The food is great specially the tacos at the snack bar, had a great time shows were also great. I recommend the French restaurant and the Brazilian steakhouse.

We stayed during the major renovations and never felt that we were missing out. The resort did an amazing job on relocating entertainment and restaurants. The food was great at the buffets, but the a la Cartes had the best food. Our room with an Ocean View was stunning and modern, clean and the housekeeping always made sure we had fresh towels & the fridge restocked daily. Staff were friendly and very attentive. This resort is a great place for families, to enjoy, pools, the lazy river, beach, discover sealife (fish swim right up to you in the small cove) and wildlife throughout the jungle. Situated just outside the property, still within the gated community are a few shops, pharmacy and corner store that is a great walk to pick up some snacks for the room. Our concierge Derek and Isaac were phenomenal!!!! I can't say enough about how much Derek did for us. Upon arrival, he made a call and got us an a la carte on our 2nd night there! He then arranged a la cartes for us for the entire week, and every morning greeted us with a smile, friendly chatting and ensured our day was going good . He was always available when we needed anything and helped us find our way and even called us a shuttle when it was raining to get us to the main lobby, dry. We highly recommend this resort and looking forward to a trip back!

Huge resort, never felt crowded. Natural beach area was amazing, whole school of fish swimming at our ankles, didn’t even need to snorkel. Swam with dolphins, hung out with monkeys, and watched the Coatis and iguanas scramble around. Tons of food options and fun events at night. Would go back.

We stayed for 6 nights in a mini suite with our two kids. The room was huge, giving lots of space for the kids to run around. A tv was available in the second room with two separate beds to let the kids chill out after long days in the sun. All areas of the hotel were extremely clean and folks were working hard. The pools were great and close to the rooms. The beach was great and the water was beautiful. Super clean beach despite there being seaweed some days. We lucked out with only one evening of rain and that only lasted a few hours. We were able reserve a restaurant for every evening. The food selection was great for the buffets and we quickly found our favourites. The service in the restaurants were always wonderful and the majority of the servers in the two buffets were pleasant. There was renovations being completed in half the resort and so capacity was less than normal. We were always able to find an ideal spot at any of the pools or beach, or in any of the dining halls without an issue. Two minor hiccups (which I didn’t try to have addressed): 1) the pillows were super lumpy and soft. 2) I had a hydrotherapy session included but I was not aware until after 3 days. I was not told I needed my swimsuit so couldn’t go It was one first all inclusive and first time in Mexico and we loved it. The resort would be one we recommend. Our only worry is that next time we go back it will be at full capacity and we won’t be so spoiled with no line ups.

We had a wonderful time. The staff were all very kind and helpful, the beach was clean, we could always find a chair at the beach or pool, the Concierge was very helpful at finding us a la carte restaurants to book us in. They remembered our names. It was my moms birthday so we ordered a cake and decor to her room, and it was so wonderful! They even decorated it again the next day, and gave her a cake at one of the restaurants! Wonderful time!

I recently stayed at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa and despite the ongoing renovation, I found it to be a beautiful and enjoyable experience. The resort offers a plethora of amenities, including relaxing massages, a lazy river perfect for unwinding, and an excellent gym for fitness enthusiasts. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the friendliness of the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that guests felt welcomed and taken care of. In particular, I had the pleasure of interacting with Diana, the guest service lady, who provided exceptional service throughout my stay. Diana not only assisted me with arranging a refund for a canceled excursion but also consistently checked on the status of our stay to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her willingness to assist with any request made our experience truly memorable. Overall, despite the ongoing renovations, the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa offers a fantastic getaway experience with top-notch amenities and exceptional service from the staff, especially from individuals like Diana. Overall this place is beautiful, we did have some bugs in our room but they weren’t life threatening! We did enjoy the food and staff was so pleasant. There could be some improvement in the shuttle transport throughout the hotel. We had to walk to the spa because a shuttle never picked us up. We bonded with a server by the name of David Baak Tun who was so amazing and attentive . We will definitely come back with our family.

My family and I had two rooms at the resort from March 31 to April 7. Had a great holiday, lovely resort, had been concerned after hearing about renovations, but they did not affect us at all. Had some issues with booking the A la carte restaurants on the app, but the concierge was wonderful and got it sorted out, thanks to Cristoffer and Alfred for all their help during out stay. Would highly recommend staying here. Buffets were great and lots to do if you want to or just relax. Our 22 month old granddaughter loved the kids pool and there was always good choices for kids meals. All staff were very attentive in all areas, spoke with several managers all asking how our stay was going and if we needed anything....had great chat with Marlene Castro. Dinner in the Peruvian restaurant was our favourite. Thank you again to everyone at Grand Sirenis.

My partner and I just returned home from our second stay at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa and it certainly won’t be our last!!! The highlights of our stay are always the incredible snorkelling, dining, and staff that makes you feel well taken care of and at home. Nathaniel and Fernando were fantastic in making sure my dietary restrictions were adhered to every step of the way - this took the only stress out of travelling for us! Thank you! Early on in our stay we connected with Edgar who made sure our second stay was a very special one, thank you “family”!!!

I would highly recommend this resort. The staff was excellent. There was a lot to do on the resort, there was plenty of stuff to do off the resort as well. We stayed at this resort while renovations were happening and we didn't hear any of the renovations and there was still plenty of room and activities to do. This was a great vacation.

Loved my stay so much. Glad I didn’t go with the previous reviews. Staff were super attentive and nice. Anahi at the buffet was so nice everyday she would greet us in the buffet and brought us our drinks. My kiddos loved the kids club: Andrea, Listy, and Elia had so many activities for the kids that my children asked to go to kids club everyday. Estrella the concierge helped reserve our a la crate dinners as well. Great beach location beautiful crystal clear water and white sand. Excellent service from everyone. Alberto the butler was super nice as well. Definitely coming back. Plus there is hot water in the entire facility. Roxana the sales specialist and Miguel Castilleros were also very nice to us.

We arrived just before one side of the resort “closed” but we were put into the side that was closing. It was clean, quiet, and beautiful. We saw lots of monkeys, iguanas, agoutis and coatis. The pools were excellent. The beach was so relaxing and we bought snorkeling gear to be able to use to watch the fish. Diana in reception was fantastic and got us into several restaurants without reservations. Jose at the buffet was our server for almost all meals there. He was so great and helpful! We never had any issues getting chairs at the beach or the pools. It was an absolutely wonderful vacation and we would go again!

We had an amazing time at Grand Sirenis. When we arrived we were able to use the facilities right away until we waited for our room. We had a concierge on the ground floor of our building. They originally said there weren’t any reservations for the week but after calling the front desk I was contacted by Marlene who immediately made accommodations for us. Special shout out to her ! The entertainment by the pool was great my son had a lot of fun. Alejandro was amazing and had such a vibrant personality. All of the restaurant staff was very friendly as well. The room was perfect and just what we needed after long days under the sun. The small trail along the coast of the beach was worth it for such a gorgeous sunrise. The nightly entertainment was amazing as well. We saw the Grease show and rock and roll one and had a blast. We would definitely visit again.

Had a great week at the Grand Sirenis! The food was some of the best that I've had at an all inclusive, and the grounds are beautiful. The pools and lazy river were clean, and the water was a comfortable temperature. The mini fridge in our room didn't work, and the phone quit working part way through the week. We spoke to the front desk multiple times, and nothing was fixed. However, when we finally brought the issues up with our concierge they were fixed within a day! Thanks Cristoffer! Half of the resort is currently closed for renovations, but it's a very large property so it didn't feel like that impacted us.

During our first trip to Mexico, we stayed at the Grand Sirenis with our two children. The room was clean and comfortable, with two double beds and a couch. The hotel staff provided excellent service, cleaning the room daily and changing towels. Although shampoo and conditioner weren't provided daily, we brought our own and it wasn't a big issue. We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful, always willing to answer any questions we had. The food at the buffet was delicious and fresh, and we also enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurants. Overall, we had an excellent experience at the Grand Sirenis and would recommend it to our friends.

I went to this resort on vacation from 30 March,24 to 4th Apr 2024 with my family. From day 1, my work was to call reception/maintenance to come to fix the issues in the room number – 2117. Worst part - 3 days I had to walked in the night to the main lobby(reception) to complain about the issue as no one picked the call. Toilet flus had issue from day 1, for every use we had to wait for 45 mins to 1 hour. This issue was fixed on 4/2/24. Issues - 3/30: Water was coming out from bathroom 3/31: complained about different issues in the room 4/1 to 4/2: Toilet flus stopped working. (We were not able to use toilet from 4/1/24 8 PM to 4/2/24 10:30 AM). Because of this, we had to reschedule the tour which we planned for 4/2/24. 4/3: Toilet flus again broke and I was doing the same thing (complain). 4/4: no complain day as we checked out on this date. Apart from that, during checked in they told us that we are going to get two bottles of drinking water every day. Got the water bottle on 3/30 and after that we got the 2 bottles of drinking water on 4/3 when I made a complain. We bought the water from our own pocket. I also told concierge support about all these issues and hope as promised to me, they raised my issues/concerns with higher management.

The grounds, pools and beaches are wonderful. The buffet food, while usually plentiful, was subpar. At the restaurants our group of 12 was asked about food allergies but little care was taken to make sure the foods that were ordered were safe. My friend with a dairy allergy was given food with cream and cheese multiple times, and my daughter with a nut allergy was given desserts with nut ingredients. Also, almost all of the juices at the buffets and at the bars were sweetened with artificial sweeteners which was obvious and unnecessary. Service was mostly very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Coordination of outings and transportation was awesome. Overall, well worth the time and money.

The only positive thing I can say about this resort, is that the property and landscaping is beautiful. Unfortunately, that's the only nice thing I can say. Staff was not very friendly or accomodating. It is very difficult to get reservations for dinner. I tried to reserve spots for our family within the first hour of arriving and every restaurant was booked for the week. The only times available were at 9:15 at night. This is also the same time as their shows, which was disappointing. You can also count on a lot of walking. They have shuttles, but good luck finding one. Oh, there are lots of shuttles available for VIP members. I would see lots of empty VIP shuttles driving around. There was one time a mother was walking with 3 young children from the dolphin show. She asked one of the VIP Shuttle drivers if she could have a ride, and they told her no (because she was not a VIP member). Also, staff could not keep up with keeping plates stocked at the beach restaurant. Everytime we tried to eat there, they would be out of plates. Their drinks and food were not very good. All of their drinks tasted the same. The last thing to note, is that their rooms have no drawers to put your clothes into. We had to keep everything in our suitcases the whole week. Typically, I do not leave negative feedback, but I felt it was needed in this situation. It was a beautiful resort, but I would not return unless some changes were made.

Would not return! Room: Jr Suite. Good size for a family of 5, but the tub did not work properly and was not fixed during our stay. One headboard had a large gross stain above, and many dust bunnies under beds. One day the hot water was not working in the entire building which caused cold showers. Railings leading up the stairs were missing the top area to hold which was inconvenient. Food: Buffets were all the same with no variety and the food was the worst we've ever had at an all inclusive resort. We were not expecting great food, but the food at this resort was bad. Burgers were overcooked, pasta was watered down, chicken nuggets were burnt. Adult options were also very bland with little to no flavor. Restaurants were hard to get into as they let groups make reservations way in advance. We ate at the Italian restaurant which was okay and also at the Japanese restaurant which was good. Pools: These were the better part of the property, but the bars did have long waits and staff did not rush to get drinks prepared. Overall: I could not in my right mind recommend this place to anyone. Overall rating 2/10.

Great property, super nice and polite staff and always willing to serve, far from Cancun and no shuttles or transportation provided by the resort, food options are alot however it was hard to find water, it was easy to get a drink or any beverage but water was hard to find and we had to carry our own bottles that would get warm, fast check in, great pools but limited seating with shades, dinner reservation was always booked and we could only find late reservations which was hard for the kids to stay that late and we ended uo always eating at the buffet.

I liked the way it was cooked, very taI!!! didn’t like the fact that you have to get from the airport to the hotel on your own, and also in the opposite direction from the hotel to the airport.sty!!!

Unfortunately we had to pay extra for one of the children even though it was booked correctly thru Expedia they claimed they received the reservation for two adults and two infants when I made the reservation I entered the children’s ages so beware they might try and charge extra even if Expedia reaches out to them the way we knew it was a scam is because they started asking for $1000 after a lengthy discussion we ended up paying $200 usd on top of what we had already paid thru Expedia
