Quite disappointing

No fresh air in the room. The windows would not open. Imagine sleeping in a room never ventilated?!? Airconnworked but smell remained

Simple Hotel.

My fiance and I stayed here for 8 days&nights. The lovely Ana allowed us an early occupancy when we arrived, as our flight landed very early in the am and by the time we made it to the hotel we were way over tired.+++ for the staff! The "buffet" breakfast was very simple Mexican fare and got boring after a few days. Same fruit for 8 days in a row! melons, papaya, eggs, refried beans, dried cereal and runny yogurt,room temp. milk and the worst coffee ever...I guess the "Buffet Breakfast" was our only complaint.

Its nice close to the main street to hangout.

Its very nice its close to all the restaurants and bars and shopping.Its great nothing to complain about my wife and my little 2yr old had lots of fun. I would stay at this place again

Mediocre Experience at Holiday Inn Express

Overall was a little disappointing. Never had a remote for our tv. Lock on main door was broken. Gym was not open due to either no air-con or some equipment not working, even though at check in I was told the location of the gym and the hours. Telephone would work and then not work. But at $80 per night ...

Convenient hotel with a great staff.

Pros: The staff was attentive and helpful with every need, including the housekeeping.
Location: See above. The walk was only a few blocks from the beach. There was nothing to do nearby.
We booked late but were not disappointed with the HI Express. It is not in the middle of things, but is close to a major market, and fairly close to the beach and 5 th ave. It's arrangement with Senior Frogs is great for the beach access.

Cons: wifi in lobby is weak and hard to get onto
good location within walking distance to 5th Ave for shopping and good restaurants. Nice to have breakfast open until 11:00 am on weekends...
