Nice hotel close to the beach

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Nice hotel in 5th avenue in Playa del Carmen. Although the avenue can be noisy, the room was very quiet (it was a junior suite in the back of the hotel, second story). Clean and contemporary room, very comfortable bed, nice restroom, good breakfast, friendly staff, small pools. Beach and bus station within walking distance, 5 and 20 minutes respectively.

On 5th Ave.

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: breakfast, beautiful roof top terrace.
Location: right on 5th ave. Minutes walk to the beach.
I don't have anything negative to say about the hotel itself. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, great décor, amazing breakfast. We were in room number 8 which is towards the front of the hotel. We had all of the traffic from the people going to the upper levels and also the roof top terrace, along with the all the noise of 5th ave. We could not sleep because of the construction that is currently going on 5th ave and which starts at the convenient hour of 11 pm. It sounded like someone was pounding the wall of our room with a sledgehammer. I think this hotel would be fantastic if you have a room towards the back of the hotel. Again, the construction was not their fault, but a room in one of the back units would be best.

Mooi rustig en fijn hotel

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Prachtig hotel, geweldige kamer (junior suite). In rustig gedeelte van 5th Avenue. Heerlijk dat het 'Adults only' is. Twee mooie maar kleine zwembaden. Ontbijt goed en inbegrepen in de prijs. Personeel ontzettend vriendelijk. Kamer schoonmaak kon iets beter (bedden opmaken, toiletspullen aanvullen).

A Lovely and relaxing hotel close to the beach

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: It was very clean, a friendly staff, and I had a very RELAXING time.
Cons: Nothing
Location: It was close to the beach, and to all the many restaurants. It was a little ways from the crazy, but it's easy to get to the crazy if you want to go
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa Ticul. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. Everyone that works there goes out of their way to make your stay amazing. There are yummy breakfasts every morning made by a wonderful chef. They helped me set up excursions and also confirmed my shuttle to the airport. I highly recommend that you stay at Hotel Casa Ticul.

Nice Hotel with friendly staff

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: The staff were all amazing! Friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. And the food at breakfast was great!
Cons: Nothing!
Location: A great cafe across the street, and restaurants and shops up the street.
We stayed at the hotel for 5 days, we were greeted by the friendly staff that showed us our room and also were very helpful in answering any questions we had. Every morning there was a free breakfast that was delicious!! It was on the rooftop patio which was a lovely way to start the day. The rooms were very clean- we were there at Easter and came back to our room one day to find an Easter basket with eggs and candy it was a very nice touch. It was close to the beaches and they have partnerships with some of the resorts right on the beach so you can get a chair and umbrella. It was also close to restaurants and shops but far enough away from the busy clubs and noisy streets. We are already planning another stay at this great hotel.

Wonderful place to stay!

My experience at Hotel Casa Ticul was wonderful. The buildings and room itself were gorgeous and clean, not to mention the great staff. Special shoutout to Paola who helped me get around town and was always friendly even when I checked out late. Breakfast was great and the shower was awesome.
