A little run down but everything else makes up far it. The floors and furniture are old. The bed was very comfortable. Shower pressure was great. Margarita was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with upon my arrival and stay!

The staff members are friendly and helpful! The room was big and comfortable place to stay. The AC helped us to recover after getting sun burn. The location is convenient. Easy to get to any places you want. Free beach towels are available everyday.

Well located for fifth ave and the beach. ADO is nearby. Only complaint is spotty wifi and no fridge in the room. Staff is friendly and some speak English very well. Bed is comfortable and plenty of hot water.

Updated since last stay. 1block to Aldo Bus Station. Next to 5th Av. Shops and restaurants. Beach 5 minute walk. 10 minutes to Cozumel ferry. Very good ,reasonable stopover on way to Riviera Maya or Cozumel.

The property has a real gem! Authentic Mexican feel. Very clean. Some areas were slightly worn but exceeded my expectations for the price point. Location is fantastic! A block and a half from public beach, 2 blocks from ferry to Cozumel, seconds from great restaurants and shopping. Can hear some noise at night due to closeness of 5th avenue but earplugs are an easy solution! Staff was very accommodating. We will be back for sure!!!!!

Hacienda del caribe has a nice location, very close to la Quinta Avenida and all the restaurants. You get what you pay for it is a very modest hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and our internet didn’t work at all. If you have a limited budget this hotel is a good option.

Hotel is quite a bit run down since we first stayed a while back…not much upkeep in the rooms or the property in general. Last time we were here there was a parking lot across the street, which no longer is in service, or we parked at there sister hotel, who h is no longer the case. Unfortunate as it made it difficult to find nooad luggage and find parking-the check in staff was no help either. It’s quiet enough though for a location within such close proximity to the avenue.

Clean and great staff. Check-in may be difficult after hours because the front desk is only staffed from 7am to 11pm. The room was fine, kind of outdated but white water works perfectly unlike many other places i am Playa.

The hotel is conveniently located near the ADO bus station and is reasonably priced. The staff has always been super nice and helpful upon arrival. There's multiple restaurants, stores, and malls in the area. It's a great deal

Decent, local, place to stay with a pool, too!
We stay here a few times each year because the ferry from Cozumel doesn't run early enough for our flights out of Cancun. It's an old, decent place that we return to because it's very close to the bus station and it's clean. It can be noisy...this time it was noisy around the pool until about midnight, so I was not able to sleep much before my 4am bus.

Second time staying here live the location, staff and quietness of it. Only issue we had was when we checked in at 6pm they still did it have a room available for us even though we dropped our suitcases off earlier. Waited till about 6:30 then told we can go to the room. When we got there bathroom wasn’t mopped there was garbage in room still and toliet needed to be flushed. Next day they came in and cleaned the room.

Close to many parties, I heard a lot of noise up to 3am. My initial reservation was in this hotel, but they oversell the rooms for that night, so they have to move me to another brother hotel with a “better” room. I had to walk with me luggages around 8min to get to the new hotel. The check in Professor was painful, it took around 30 min. The worst part was that they gave an occupied room to my friend, so when he went to his room, he saw a naked couple! This hotel was a terrible experience.

Although at upon check in, we waited about 10 mins until the front desk showed up. We liked our stay, decent room, nice pool and above it all the location is fantastic. Not on the busy street but super close to all the action and the beach. I recommend this place.

Property was good, until the last 3 days. The water went out due to the hotel doing renovations. It would have been nice to know about this before booking. Power went out on the last day, although this was probably not the hotels fault, as the entire block lost power. I had to leave half way thru my stay, and book another hotel due to the water loss. I asked the front desk receptionist if we could check out early and receive a partial refund. She mentioned this would not be possible. Hotel room ran out of soap on the second day. I left a note for the room attendant in English and Spanish, along with a tip. She took the tip and never brought us the soap.

There was a discrepancy upon check in, but the young man working quickly rectified it. They allowed me to leave my bags until my ring was ready which was super helpful. The hotel is pretty and in a great location. I highly recommend it
