Eine Sanierung wäre notwendigPosted May 18, 2015

Overpriced, with some incredibly unhelpful staffPosted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Breakfast. Nice manager.
Cons: The price is ridiculous for the quality of that space and the lackluster beachfront. I'm sure you won't lower your rates, but they are obscene.
Location: Nice little town.
This hotel was grossly overpriced. Our room was not great. TV and air conditioning were both broken. When I told the woman at the front desk, she just shrugged. The next morning, the manager kindly allowed us to check out an hour later because of the problems. I left my bathing suit in the room by accident when we checked and emailed to ask if the hotel had it. The manager emailed right away and said it was there. However, when I returned to pick it up, the staff was almost completely useless. The guy at the desk opened one cabinet, looked in quickly, and determined it wasn't there. It took more than 15 minutes of my harassing him to open more cabinets and actually look through them before he was able to muster the energy to find it. It was deeply annoying, especially considering that he had nothing else going on. Breakfast was fantastic. The staff there was very kind and did a great job. I would recommend staying somewhere else and going in for breakfast.

Great locationPosted Apr 13, 2015
The hotel is right on the beach and rift in the village of Puerto Morrlos. Lots of places to eat and shop within 5 minute walk. The hotel is older and shows some of its age. But the rooms were clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was on the third floor and at the end - great view but no water pressure for a shower. Friends staying on the second floor did not have this problem.

Its a great location but....Posted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: The location on the beach and close to downtown was great
Cons: See first comment
Location: downtown shops and access to restaurants etc.
We were very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it to anyone . needs a lot of repairs , new pillows , cable tv, light bulbs, everything you can think of , new management. I was surprised it was even listed on Expedia.

A great location, attentive staff and clean, comfoPosted Feb 19, 2015 on Hotels.com
The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and attentive. The location was perfect with the pool less than 20 steps to our room door and the beach a few steps beyond that. The beach was kept clean and was nice to relax on. We took the American Plan which included breakfast and we found the choices a little limited. The lunches and dinners that we had were all excellent. Our main Housekeeper, Margarita, could not do enough for us and went out of her way to make things nice. We will definitely return here.

Great value for location and amenities.Posted Feb 16, 2015 on Hotels.com
We stayed here several times and always enjoyed it. It's a perfect location to enjoy the beach and easy walk to main square. It seems as if the hotel has gotten a bit of a face-lift in amenities. The pool-side chairs were in great condition and the area relaxing. The restaurant is now open, although the service one morning was so bad that we had to leave and go elsewhere since we could not get a waiter to serve us. This was a huge disappointment. I mentioned to the front desk personnel, but not sure if anything was done. The shower worked great with plenty of hot water except that the drain plugged and you were soon standing in a pool of water. I didn't especially like the toilet seat cover that didn't really cover the toilet and really should be replaced in 101. The staff, especially Alex, were exceptional in response to any problems. We plan to stay here again as the convenience, off-street parking, and spaciousness of the rooms are worth the cost. Don't expect a 5-star resort. This is a local hotel in a fishing village. If you want luxury, stay elsewhere.

February VacationPosted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: location was good - Fairly quiet - friendly staff and very courteous - check in and out was quick and easy.
Cons: Availability of ice in rooms - or a fridge in every room - music at this hotel would have been nice - offer taxi to and from the hotel from airport
Location: Good Bars on the beach, excellent food variety, shopping, people watching in the square,
This was a nice experience with a nice view of the beach - on the end of the beach so not many people. Not a lot of music during the week for entertainment. The local bars were not too crowded and service was as on the norm as I was told but there were a few good exceptions. Beautiful sunrises and watching the boats go by. Snorkeling and scuba diving was available everywhere but I didn't partake in any of those adventures. Food was all good every where I went. I would go back again.

great location on beachPosted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: The beach, the sound of the Ocean, the friendly atmosphere.
Cons: The bathroom in our room needed work. Been patched many times and just was not pretty and some mold due I think to the humidity.
Location: The town of Puerto Morelos is a wonderful place to explore. In walking distance from the hotel. Restraints are plentiful with very good food.
The hotel is basic and that was exactly what we wanted. Loved the beach practically out our front door. The staff was excellent very friendly. The American breakfast was good and served on a beautiful patio. The bathroom could use some TLC sloppy patch work. Over all would stay again.

Value For MoneyPosted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: Location, food, staff. The latter work very hard and I want to give a bouquet to the cleaning lady especially who did her best.
Cons: It needs painting and general TLC. Larger bottom sheets which would remain tucked in.
Location: The location is great and PuMo is laid back, yet lively, and I hope that the big chains will stay away.
The hotel is very close to the 'heart beat' of the town, yet very quiet. It has the beach right behind it and, though it is narrow, there is hardly a soul. Watching the sea, birds and ships while eating was very enjoyable. The staff is excellent and really tries to please. We had some issues with the lock and a broken window which were both fixed. It is an old hotel and needs repairs and some finishing touches; a comfortable chair would have been nice, a dresser instead of a table with a small drawer and some hooks/pegs for hanging clothes. There is a daily menu (menu del dia) for a very reasonable price and of very good quality with a good variety of vegetables most of the time. The breakfast was included and I found it a bit 'cheap', having to choose between either juice or tea/coffee. The tea was never hot the first few days so we switched to juice after that. Adding some fruit would also have been nice. Or, instead of having to choose between Continental, American or Mexican breakfast, just have a buffet.

Basic…could be better!Posted Jan 28, 2015 on Hotels.com
The hotel was BASIC - for the price we expected a little more! At least it was clean….and on the beach.
