Small ocean front hotelPosted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: The size - only six rooms so very low key and NO spring breakers were there. Very friendly staff. Restaurant on site.
Location: The hotel is right on the beach with many restaurants and spas within walking or bicycling distance. Taxis are easy to get to go anywhere further.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. It is not a resort, so if that is what you are looking for you'll need to look elsewhere. The room was clean and comfortable - no TV or radio. Beach towels are provided. Our room was ocean front and the view from our balcony was spectacular! We could watch the sun rise over the ocean from our balcony and the sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep at night. This is exactly what we were looking for - a clean, comfortable place off the strip, so to speak, yet with access to food and activities still easy. We were close to several different Mayan ruin sites, as well as cenotes and other activities. The town of Tulum was easily accessible by a bicycle or taxi ride when we wanted to do the more typical tourist type of shopping - good restaurants and friendly people in the town. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again. And my husband was very impressed to be able to get a coconut drink from the coconut tree on the hotel property!

Loved everything about this placePosted Feb 20, 2015
Loved this hotel. The rooms are very very basic, but that gave it the greatest feel ever. Such a nice change to be in and gave it such an authentic feel! Still a nice clean place, and bed comfort was amazing. Restaurant below was also amazing! The home made ravioli was the best food we ever had. And all food they made was amazing. Friendly awesome staff willing to help and serve with anything. And beach in one step out of the restaurant was also amazing. Would definately love to go again.

Sweet and simplePosted Sep 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
What a great place! Excellent staff and food, and close proximity to lots of Mayan ruins, and cenotes. Perfect place if you're looking to relax on the beach, and go exploring during the day. We will definitely go back.

Nice staff, hotel right on beachPosted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Restaurant on site, pristine beach, nice staff
Cons: Citronella candles to dissuade the mosquitoes!
Location: The hotel is on the Boca Paila (the main beach hotel road). An easy drive to Tulum Mayan Ruins and the town
The staff at Kin-Ha were amazing and super accommodating. My son and I loved staying there and would do it again.

Tulum Kin Ha PlayaPosted Aug 5, 2014

Breathtaking view, but better optionsPosted Jul 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was what I expected: a bed, a bathroom, and a balcony. The view was amazing; beach and ocean as far as the eye can see. Unfortunately, and this was expected, the room was extremely warm at night and there was no respite from the heat (the fan didn't do much). For the price we paid, there were other options that were just as good for significantly less cash.
