Loved it all!

Pros: We liked the cleanliness, beauty, pools, beach, property, food, staff, atmosphere.
Cons: The Wi-Fi (cuts out at dead spots). And possibly the plumbing? Toilets need several flushes. The night life/entertainment lacked compared to cruising.
Location: We only ventured out to once excursion and that was just a 30 minute ride to our destination.
Been on many cruises. Loved this all inclusive resort! If SUN is your main destination, then this is your place. We ate at five of the finest restaurants and the buffets exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful relaxing warm week

Pros: Staff was friendly. Service was superb. Our room was always cleaned to perfection. We visited the spa pools this time and was very impressed.
Cons: Loved the small private pools but the lounge chairs are not comfortable to read. It would have been nice to have the TV on couch side of room.
Location: We have been to Cancun before so we stayed in the compound. Easy ride from airport.
This was our second time to Maya. We had fabulous service and food. The facilities were top notch. Our goal was to relax and get warm and we did.

You have to go to this hotel

Family reunion, we got 5 rooms at this property. Lots of great food around the clock and nightly entertainment. Out of 5 different hotels in this property, Lindo is number 3 according to grading but still a lot to do, eat, drink and more. Beach and ocean as clean and nice as it can get. Kids and teen clubs if needed. Shopping mall in property w free food and cafe w great coffee, cake and more.

A must stay hotel in Rivera Maya

A great place to stay w family, full of activities, entertainment, beautiful, clean grounds, fabulous food and drinks all over the property and kind staff. 6 hotels in the same property. Number 4 out of 6 hotel series and still the best we have ever been in Cancun. A nice shopping mall across the hotel and free food for hotel guests. A must stay and no negative comments.

Cons: They will not serve you at the Maya and the Grand if you have the wrong colored (Lindo) wrist band, making you feel like a third class citizen.
Beautiful resort. The pool is very cold! The buffet is excellent.

Nice Resort, just not for me

First let me say we have stayed at many all inclusive from adult only to family ones. The Resort grounds are very pretty and well maintained the rooms need updating. If you have kids this is the place for you, the entertainment staff looks like they do a great job keeping the little ones busy. The pools and beaches are very crowded, even with this huge Resort there are wall to wall people. The food was OK,the drinks were better. It is easy to make reservations to the nightly resturants they were good. I emailed the resort ahead of our arrival with dinner reservations and room request and they replied promptly. The nightly entertainment is great for small kids but boring for adults. The beach is big with some seaweed but you can swim in the ocean fine. I don't think that I would return, I was expecting a little more for my first Iberostar experience.

Nice Hotel

This is our 2nd time staying at Lindo. We had a great time but I think they should let u know that u can also use the a la carte at other resorts. Steakhouse at Beach hotel was better. Love Japanese one!! A must!! Shows kind of cheesy but funny!

Great resort lots of things to do

Great Resort. The best I've been to. It's huge and great for the whole family to enjoy. A lot of entertainment, spas, a casino, beach, pools, and shops located on the resort. The food is the only bad thing. It was not good and I am not a picky eater. I've been to plenty resorts this one had the worst food. Staff was very nice especially our concierge Bernice. There were a few others that were flat out rude marisol and Brenda from the taco place. They were so rude I couldn't believe it. Other than some bad service and not so good food the resort was beautiful and immaculate. I would definitely recommend the visit .
