Nice Hotel

This is our 2nd time staying at Lindo. We had a great time but I think they should let u know that u can also use the a la carte at other resorts. Steakhouse at Beach hotel was better. Love Japanese one!! A must!! Shows kind of cheesy but funny!

Great resort lots of things to do

Great Resort. The best I've been to. It's huge and great for the whole family to enjoy. A lot of entertainment, spas, a casino, beach, pools, and shops located on the resort. The food is the only bad thing. It was not good and I am not a picky eater. I've been to plenty resorts this one had the worst food. Staff was very nice especially our concierge Bernice. There were a few others that were flat out rude marisol and Brenda from the taco place. They were so rude I couldn't believe it. Other than some bad service and not so good food the resort was beautiful and immaculate. I would definitely recommend the visit .

Beautiful hotel with horrible food

We finished off our trip through Guatemela, Belize and Mexico at this all inclusive. The hotel was lovely. The beach was great, so were the hotel pools. Our room was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly but the food was awful!! We are at 3 of the restaurants Mediterranean, Mexican and Gourment and no meal was that great. The buffets for breakfast and lunch are like cafeteria food. If you don't care about eating good food then this hotel is for you.

Nice hotel, food so so

Pros: clean, comfortable bed.
Cons: food, very disappointing. large complex, need better signage and maps. sometimes we felt like we were walking in circles.
Location: close to the beach. shopping nearby, no need to leave the complex.
Very large complex. Needs more detailed maps. It took us a couple days to feel comfortable with our surroundings. The staff is very helpful and kind. There are lots of activities for all ages. The bed was very comfortable and complex very clean. The food was somewhat disappointing.

Decent hotel, but ...

we were satisfied with this place in every aspect. However, my wife was not feeling well and we decided to fly back home after 3 days (our package was for 7 nights). Hotel management refused to give at least small partial refund.

First of all, we deeply regret that your wife got sick during your stay with us. The medical service is provided by an external company and it is therefore not included. We recommend all our guests to purchase travel insurance. We would like to clarify that the hotel provides first aid service for free and it is available 24/7. For illnesses, we always recommend to be assisted by the medical center located at the hotel complex, where there is a Doctor on duty 24 hours every day. Family friendly hotel with relaxing experience

This hotel has nice architecture and views. It offers easy access to the beach, several pools, lazy river, and a kiddie pool. The buildings and walk ways are beautiful. The residential buildings are spaced apart and nicely decorated. The in room amenities can be old though - TVs are still tubes, not flat. Some amenities can be broken and the staff took a long time to fix them. Hotel staff is friendly, although some of them don't speak enough English to be helpful. There is a concierge in each residential building. That is really nice. The food service has flexible time that fits everyone's need. Restaurants are easy to get to no matter where you are. You don't have to walk a mile to grab a bite. The food is fresh and served in super clean environment. While selection is pretty good, the chefs aren't trained to cook non-Mexican food consistently or authentically, even in the specialty restaurants. Steaks are tough to chew, even for recently cuts. Pasta can be bland. Cajun food tastes nothing Cajun. The Japanese Restaurant and Gourmet are better than the others. I rate the food lower than any cruise line I've been to. There are some activities organized by staff on site. Those are fun. Although finding the information can take a while and some asking around.
