Iberostar Paraiso Lindo

El hotel es agradable y optimo para los niños, las habitaciones estan bien en general, la TV no se veia bien la reportamos y siguio igual, el wifi es gratis pero te cuesta muchisimo trabajo encontrar buena señal, fuera de eso el hotel es excelente.

unpleasant stay

Hotel is outdated. Interior is old, rooms smell, air conditioning working very loud in rooms, bathrooms old and smelly with poor drainage in sink and toilet. Towels used and abused. Bathroom lock was broken. Meals just ok. Service slow and rude. No Bell service at check in. Restaurants: poorly lit and barely air conditioned. Empty trays of food. Drinks have barely any alcohol. Cheap alcohol offered. Pools are nothing to be excited about. Kids area far from beach. On our last night there was a fire in a room adjacent to ours and no one felt like communicating with us. I called concierge and was told not to worry. It was hard not to worry when someone is yelling and screaming next door and water flowing in your room.... Avoid this resort.

This was our 2nd stay in this hotel and it was nice to see my kids have fun. Too bad the beach was messy with seaweed all over the shore but they could not have done much. Hopefully next time it will be cleaner.

Nice hotel nothing fancy but clean

Staff very friendly and helpful, food average nothing really served hot or cold sort of luke warm. Hard to get lounge chairs at the pool areas people up at 5 am placing towels all over chairs to save them for later even though there are signs telling you not to do this😒. Beach area not the best, lots or seaweed and stuff in the ocean there. Overall not a bad place but there are nicer places to stay for the money.

Too many small children

Pros: Beautiful pool and grounds. also nice beach and water toys for use.
Cons: Staff were friendly but when we needed help were reluctant to help and in some cases rude.
Location: Golf at the hotel is great. Not close to anything else. Better to stay in Playa Del Carmen or Cancun if you want to do excursions away from the hotel.
The hotel was nice, beautiful grounds and beach, and rooms nice. We stayed on the third floor. NO elevators in this hotel and had to move because AC worked poorly. Staff were very reluctant to help and we ended up with our family in two rooms far apart instead of next to each other as requested. Good hotel if you have small kids as there were tons of them there. We had two older teens and would have been happier in some place not over run with 6 year olds. When we left ,the bell boys never came to our rooms to get our bags, and we and friends had to bring down our own bags. Will not stay here again.

The staff was outstanding, the food was good for the most part. The property is huge and you have to do lots of walking. The beach is far and full of sea weed. The rooms are nice but beds are very uncomfortable. ...bring your own pillow. It is the tropics so a few insects in the rooms is normal but the really neat to spray the rooks more often. All in all its a nice place but there are better for the money.

The resort is amazing. The staff is wonderful. I can definitely recommend the resort to anyone and any group you are traveling with - family with kids, couples, friends etc. Big thank you to all the Iberostar members for making it a wonderful experience!

Best All-Inclusive Vacation EVER!

Pros: Swim-Up Bars, volleyball on the beach, plenty of chairs by the pools, food quality, super friendly staff, comfy room, nightly entertainment
Cons: Nothing -- this place was absolutely perfect!
Location: The location was great -- only about a 25-minute shuttle ride from Cancun Airport. 5th Avenue market was about a 20-minute cab ride from the resort.
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, and we had been to Cancun before. So we decided to try going a little bit farther south, and Playa del Carmen was the perfect spot. It's not overflowing with tourists the way Cancun is because it's a beach town, not a mega resort town. From the moment we arrived at Paraiso Lindo, and were greeted by the smiling bellman (Guadalupe), we felt right at home. The lobby was beautiful and had a sweet-smelling aroma that I later found out is specific to all Iberostar resorts. The check-in process was fast and easy, thanks to Queryn. He was not only helpful and informative, but he took the time to chat with us about his international internship (he's from Holland). Our room was meticulously cleaned. The bed had flower petals on it and a swan made out of towels. The housekeepers had also left us a personal note, wishing us a happy anniversary. They did this every day for the entire 5-night stay. Our personal concierge (Elizabeth and Alejandra) even brought us a complementary bottle of champagne on our anniversary night. We could NOT have asked for a more friendly hotel staff. It was truly 5-star! All of the pools on the property were spotless and never over-crowded. The gym was big and included free weights and instructor-led classes. The food was AMAZING in every restaurant (especially Jambalaya). The nightly entertainment was fun and original. Seriously, everything about this place was perfect. We want to go back!

Great Hotel!!!!!

Location: Tulum. La Quinta Avenida - Playa del carmen.... great place for dinner and/or drinks
It was my first time at an Iberostar and this hotel was wonderful. The staff was amazing, especially, Jenny at the beach. She was an absolutely wonderful, to the point that we only sat in the area that she was working. The grounds are extremely well kept and the hotel is really big. We stayed in building 52 which was perfect bc it was right in the middle, close to the beach and close to the lobby. I thought the food was really good especially the steakhouse, highly recommend it. The only complaint that I have is the television. I speak Spanish but was not a fan of only having a couple of channels in English. I understand I am in Mexico and hardly in the room but I couldn't get use to watching E! with spanish speaking Kardashians. lol Considering this is my only complain, I GREAT vacation, definitely plan of going back!

Hotel Súper Agradable

He visitado ya varios hoteles en Riviera y este esta por encima de otros supuestamente "mejores". Esta muy cerca de Cancún, puedes ir a la zona hotelera, a Xcaret, Playa del Carmen, Coco Cun o XelHa en menos tiempo y regresar a tu hotel. Les recomiendo definitivamente rentar un coche para poder desplazarse y ahorrar tiempo y dinero. Muy bueno para familias con niños, y si van en pareja o grupos aun mejor.
