Very nice hotel with many amenities close to beach

Pros: Setting
Cons: Cleanliness....room floors and hallways.
Beautiful pool and quality of food was very good. Clean beaches located very close to hotel. Jungle setting was awesome!!

Nice place but food was disappointing

Pros: Great beach, lots of activities, nice rooms, jungle atmosphere with lots of animals
Cons: Disappointed with the food and shows. Also that the pool closed at 7pm and there is no hot tub.
We stayed at this hotel with three couples and had a great time. The rooms and facilities are very nice and there is a lot to do.

Different from the others!

Pros: The animals, staff, activities throughout the day.
Cons: Food could be improved, specialty restaurants were not that great.
My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at Iberostar Tucan. It was his first time in Mexico and my second. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of nature on the grounds of the hotel itself. There were so many animals to look at! Definitely our favorite part. All of the hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. The beach was pleasant. We took advantage of the many activities throughout the day, such as riflery, archery, beach volleyball and soccer, zumba, etc. so it was easy to stay active while being on vacation. The only downside would be that the food wasn't anything special, with some of the "specialty" restaurants disappointing. But overall, we definitely had a great stay and I would recommend this hotel to others!

Great beach,great eco resort. Great beach and pool

Pros: Pool, beach, entertainment at night. Service was excellent. They had activities both at pool and at the beach. Non-motorized equipment. The spa.
Cons: I thought they were short in staff to serve the patrons at the beach. That was my impression and was confirmed talking to a waiter.
Location: You have the town playa del carmen nearby and tulum. You can even take a ferry to cozumel.
Great time at resort. Facilities and grounds were beautiful. Beach was great with the palapas (huts) and pool was awesome considering I have been at various resorts in cancun, puerto vallarta and playa del carmen. Room was spacious and clean. I think they need to improve their reservation system because it was hard to get an appointment to a restaurant. Some do no attend and do not cancel the reservation therefore complicating things.

Regarding our dinner reservation system, this was created in order to avoid delays or quick uncomfortable dinners to guests. The experience in an a la carte restaurant must be more exclusive and relaxing, where dishes are made to order, and it is also important for our chefs to make an adequate daily planning. We also get no shows, so we allow a 10 to 15 min grace period before we give away their table. We will keep working to create a more efficient system for our guests, apologies about any inconvenience caused. Once more, thank you for your review. Great Multi-generational vacation

Pros: Very interesting with all the animals! Kids love that! Walkways/public areas were beautiful. Things were clean and in good repair everywhere.
Cons: It would be nice if the kids show had a BIT more variety. After 3 nights it's a bit torturous for adults (Kids, LOVED it though so no worries there!)
Location: We liked that this was a secluded location- like a gated community. We felt safe traveling out of the country for the first time with our kids here.
We arrived and were served drinks at check-in (yummy juice, non-alcoholic) and our room was upgraded so we were only two buildings from the beach, room 742. Everything was great! We had a group of 6. One family of 4 (kids 7 & 9), one single lady, and a grandma. Everyone enjoyed the trip. The adults all thought it was very 'upscale' and the kids had a blast everyday! Beach was clean with free chairs available at all times and drink servers passing by. Kids loved the daily free ice cream stand right on the beach! Alcohol and soft drinks were included as well as food 24/7. (Only exception was 'upgraded' wine at restaurants). We made two restaurant reservations a few days before (via email) and the remainder our first night without issue at the desk near the main check-in. (We ate at restaurants, not buffet, for dinner each night). Our clear favorite, no contest, was the Hibachi restaurant. We could have eaten there every night (kids LOVED it). Runner up was Tropical. Others were 'fine' but no better than the buffet (we just enjoyed the 'restaurant' experience after eating buffets for b-fast & lunch each day). After dinner (we would do early times about 6:00/6:30) we went straight to the 'kids show' and stayed through for the 'adult show' (it's not inappropriate for kids- just not geared to kids-- but our kids enjoyed it) which rotates themes each night. Each show was really fun (one was 'cruise/higher level' others were more 'audience participation' type shows). Great property.

Junto da praia e campo de golfe

Eu acho que precisa melhorar o horario de atendimentos aos hospedes: p.ex,nao tem sentido o horario para agendar jantares,campo de golfe,etc a partir das 16hs. Voce chega la e ja tem um fila e o hospede perde muito tempo esperando. Se tiver um funcionario disponivel,o servico vai diluindo no decorrer do dia. O tempo e precioso.

La habitacion sin vista a la playa y un poco lejo

Pros: La zona de animales, las hamburguesas, las clases y la playa, el lobby muy agradable, tour de bicis
Cons: Los bufettes , cocinar con aceite de mejor calidad, esto elevaría la calidad de los alimentos y a todos los jugos le ponen azùcar , deben de avisar

Bien, lastima que no pudimos cambiar de restaurant en las cenas, ya casi todas las noches ya estaban reservadas, cansa el bufette aunque este bien

Hôtel Iberostar plage et jungle

Pros: Le personnel est courtois et a l'écoute de nos besoins. La nourriture est variée. Et excellente.
C' est la deuxieme fois que nous y allons et nous n'avons pas été decu. C'est un lieu de detente par excellence.
