2 stars! Dissappointed. Mosquitoes. No Beach.

Checkin was fast and easy. Hotel staff greeted us with smiles, a cold wet towel and a glass of champagne. Took our bags to the room while we ate at the buffet. The buffet food was cold and not much of a variety and definitely no flavor. The beach was a dissappointment. You have 20 feet of walking distance from the beach to the shore and it was rough and unattractive. There was debris, rocks and sea weed washed up every where everyday. Rocks made it rough and impossible to walk to get in the ocean. Our room was clean and small but acceptable. Our suite was in building 2. It was a double bed with ocean view and a balcony. sadly we viewed more of the other buildings and trees than the very distant ocean. Our stay was for 5 days and every night we were killing mosquitoes and my boyfriend got bit literally 20 times. And as result of that we didn't sleep very well and not all the last night before our stay for fear of being attacked by mosquitos because they only seemed to come out in the evening. The room and buildings would also smell of a sewage at times. To get to the activity areas was a bit of a walk. The entertainment team was ok. They do offer unlimited drinks but not top shelf liquor and the drinks are horrible. They don't take reservations at the restaurants so be prepared to wait at least 35 minutes at any restaurant. The buffet has a outside dining area but its only open til 11a. staff kept bugging us to view a timeshare presentation in theit other rooms.

Very nice staffs help all my vacation period. Pros: Nice staffs, nearby beach connection, quiet room Cons: little bit old furnitures, little bit delayed services, many rocks inside of sea --> hard to get in the tropical sea swiming

Thanksgiving holiday trip

Pros: Family friendly. Prompt room service and concierge service.
Cons: A quicker check-in.
Had a awesome time at the resort. Nice beach and pools.

Nice hotel but room for improvement

A majority of the staff was nice and always said "hola" when walking around the resort. The women in the coffee shop were very friendly. The bartenders at the lobby bar will not take your order unless you have cash in hand. Breakfast at the buffet was great. It always had a good selection of American breakfast foods and the Mexican breakfast was amazing. The restaurants for dinner were not very flavorful and meats used for "filet mignon" were inedible. The Mexican restaurant was very disappointing because it was not as good as some of the tacos on the buffet. The pool area was very large and there always seemed to be open chairs. Drinks were good at the pool and the entertainment staff kept the pool lively. The kiddie pool was great for my 18 month old. They had toys laid out for him to play with. The gym had what you needed for a workout but you need to get there early if you want to do cardio or there was a wait. I think there were three treadmills and two ellipticals.

El personal es muy amable, la playa no es linda

Pros: Me gustaron las hamacas en la alberca de adultos
Cons: los alimentos en bufet tienen mucha grasa, podrían hacerlos menos grasientos
Location: la playa no es linda, el hotel está lejos, no hay mucho que hacer cerca
El personal tiene la mejor actitud para que pases una buena estancia, las instalaciones están muy bien sin embargo son insuficientes las papapas y camastros en área de albercas y playa, la ubicación del hotel no es la mejor ya que al estar junto a la marina la playa no es linda

Great first time to Mexico

Pros: The easy of the space
Cons: The marina could use a little tlc, lots of garbage on the rocks and in the calm water.
Location: beach walks, bike rides, a little town, snokling, kayaking, sea doing, yoga, zumba
Was lovely and the beaches were wonderful, loved seeing the fish up close. Lots to do for the family, great friendly staff.
