Beach Front

Pros: clean
Cons: there needs to be more areas that are quiet and relaxing. The entertainers were great for children, but there were not enough lounge chairs and quiet.
Location: Close to all water activities
This hotel is great for students, families and small children. The food was mediocre however the location was great for visiting Playa Del Carmen and/or Cancun. There are alot of activities for children.

Great resort

Pros: The evening entertainment shows were very good. The food and beverage staff were very friendly.
The resort was very comfortable. We were a group, and had 3 rooms. They managed to put us all in the same building, closest to the lobby and restaurants. The room was well appointed, and the beds were very comfortable. The entertainment staff were very good. They had lots of activities going on if you wanted to get involved. I liked the idea of no reservations needed in the restaurants, but because we were a larger group, sometimes we had to wait a bit to get a table. All the restaurants were good, my favorite was the Blue water grill. The food and beverage staff were amazing. At the pool, our server most days was Flor, she was awesome. In the evening, our server in the lobby bar was Carmen, who was amazing at her job. The resort is very lucky to have these ladies. It was great to have use of the sailboats, and kayaks. The evening shows were pretty good as well, the best shows were the circus show and the breakdancing show. Overall, this resort was perfect for our group.

Amazing wedding

Went for my friends' wedding, and was blown away by the level of attention to every detail across the resort. Food, facilities, rooms, staff, wedding coordinating, and cleanliness all 5 stars. Going back again for sure. Recommend this place to anyone

First visit to this resort

Pros: The food was very good and according to my scale when I got home, way to plentiful.
Cons: They have two nice tennis courts but the one net is in terrible condition and needs to be replaced.
Location: After seven visits to this area, we don't leave the resort much any more. A 45 minute walk to Puerto Morelos is worthwhile.
My wife and I stayed at the NOW Sapphire for the first time from January 19 to 26. This was the seventh year that we vacationed in the Riviera Maya. We thought that the food was superior to the other resort that we stayed at previously. The facilities were similar as well as the resort staff. All in all, we enjoyed our visit and will probably return in the future. One thing to be aware of totally unrelated to the resort, the people down the beach that sell boat trips to the reef (which I highly recommend) are NOT going to tell you the truth regarding the trip. They will tell you that you will be out two hours and stop at two places. They are lying. You will stop at one place and will be out for less than an hour. Don't pay more than $25 USD.

Pros: staff are very friendly and very accommodating. food is excellent too!
sad to say it was raining most of our stay but still my family and I enjoyed our stay especially w/ our preferred club amenities. the cabanas and the preferred club lounge were superb. also, the breakfast @ cibu , our dinner @ the lemon grass and the glamour French restaurant were excellent.

Watch your stuff

Pros: Food was great!
Cons: Dinner on the beach could be improved. There were no candles to see our food.
Overall, it was just OK. The fact that our stuff was taken, left a bad impression with us. We went in the pool close to closing time (5 or 6pm) and when we got out, our stuff was gone - room key, hat, t-shirt, flip flops. I had to walk back to the room barefoot and call someone to let us in. They did arrive quickly which is a plus. Someone at the pool said our stuff was picked up by the cleaning crew. Every time we checked with the staff over the next 2 days, they told us to check again and brushed us off. We finally asked to speak to the manager who said he would look into it, but we never heard back from him either way. I don't think someone intentionally stole it, but there was definitely an error made and no one seemed to care.
