Great Hotel!Posted Aug 21, 2013
Pros: The hotel is small and relaxed. The pools were beautiful and there is snorkeling from hotel's beach.
Location: Tulun was an easy ride using the Collectivos. Many restaurants and shops across the street from the hotel,
Great place for a family vacation! The staff was great! We had 6 teens with us and they all had a great time.

A very happy young couple.Posted May 31, 2013
My wife and I stayed at the Omni PA for 8 days, and absolutely loved it. It was perfect for a couples getaway. It felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The pool was fantastic, and the breakfast every morning, facing the ocean, was picture perfect. Our room was nice, well taken care of, awesome shower, neat little balcony, good ac. The staff were incredibly courteous. We will definitely be back. Pros(many): Comfortable. Clean. Great pool. Great food options. Quiet beach, pool very relaxing. Neat pool bar. Good sushi/taco stand that is part of the hotel. Close to many walkable restaurants. Puerto Aventuras is like this little mini town that is incredibly safe. If you want authentic mexico though, this is not it. Cons(very few): "Marina view" rooms face the street. Across from our room was a trinket shop that blasted club music from 830am until 8pm every single day. The thumping of bass was incredibly annoying when we wanted to decompress. The front desk agreed to move us, as I'm sure we are not alone in this complaint. Would opt for ocean or garden view, worth the extra money. Some obnoxious non hotel guest that bought day passes to the pool/beach aren't really controlled, so, obnoxious. Could have been just one family though.

Great Service!!!Posted Mar 24, 2013
Pros: Service was top notch
Cons: Beach was almost non-existent
Location: Beautiful and safe place to stay in Mexico
When we arrived(Girlfriend and I)they initially put us in a room that we did not prefer(1st floor). We asked Jorge at the front desk if he could move us and he accommodated our request without even asking why and put us on the 2nd floor with a great view of the ocean(room 203). Exceptional service from Jorge at the front desk and Josue in the restaurant. He remembered how my GF liked her breakfast even when we forgot to tell him. What a great place!! I gave a rating of 4 on upkeep simply because the beach was as others have mentioned but it was still a wonderful getaway. We can't wait to go back

Beautiful, relaxing small hotel.Posted Mar 22, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, clean, beautiful view!!!
Cons: Room 106 was near the side of hotel were they unload scuba tanks every am and pm, didn't really bother us (former scuba divers) but might some people
Location: Perfect location for walking everywhere, beach ,little village, park, to the road to catch bus into play del Carmen
This is a small hotel with the most beautiful view from the entrance to the grounds. It is true the beach is small, but we never had any problems finding a chair and no crowds here. The staff is friendly, food and drinks good, although pretty pricey. Continental breakfast is included which is nice and the view spectacular. Had a garden view which was ok, would have preferred an ocean view, but rooms are nice and very clean. Showers are great. Hotel is right across street from many restaurants, less expensive, with entertainment nightly. We loved this hotel and PA area, would come back!!

Marine View Omni Puerto AventurasPosted Mar 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
My reservation stated Marine View. It was really street view and the Marine far far away in diagonal, seen only from one corner of the balcony. That´s it everything else was very good.

Puerto Aventuras Omni Hotel PackagePosted Feb 5, 2012
Pros: Right on the beach. Breakfast was awesome. Very close to shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Cons: Can't think of much except the beach had shrunk from our last visit 10 years ago.
Location: P.A. has limited activities. Visit Playa del Carmen for restaurants and nightlife. lovely beaches to the south. Xcaret,Coba, Tulum.
Extremely clean, well-kept hotel with great service by very caring staff. We remembered the beach much differently from 10 years ago--it is almost GONE from hurricane damage. Still, in late January, 2012, we had enough beach and plenty of chairs to meet our needs. The food was delicious (we had a package that included breakfast) and Puerto Aventuras is quaint with several good restaurants within walking distance. I would encourage having a car if you're staying a week--there's not a lot to do there other than relax.

FabulousPosted Dec 30, 2011
Beautiful location right on the beach. Fabulous snorkeling from the hotel beach as well as other beaches up and down the coast (don't miss out on snorkeling with the turtles at Akumel, 10 minutes south of Puerto Aventuras by road). Hotel based scuba staff are excellent (Martin and Nils highly recommended). Looking forward to our next visit!
