Location: Nothing is near by.
No one in the area even knew where it was. Took several hours of going in circles to find it. We stopped at a place in front of the hotel to ask if they knew where it wsa & they had never heard of it. The phone listed on expedia is wrong. No services. No one takes your luggage. No phones in your room. Very secluded not very good. It was clean though.

For the money, excellent

Posted May 11, 2015
Clean room, clean pool, kitchenette, good staff, air con, rooftop with hottubs (not hot) but amazing view, 4 blocks from beach, everything close by. I ve stayed in two other places in Playa for more money and they were not as nice.

nice first time stay

Stuffs are nice and I always see them cleaning the public area. 3,4 blocks to the beach and a lot of cheap nice Mexican restaurants near by. Collectivo is around the corner, we go Tulum with that it's like 60 peso. One small improvement is wish they hv a bigger hotel sign because my shuttle drivers hv hard time finding it.

Not a friendly staff

This guy called Pedro wouldn't give me a tolwer that I need, and there was never wifi available. Moreover, we could not have breakfast at the hotel for some reason that I didn't really understand.

Pictures were better than reality

Posted Mar 14, 2015
Pros: Location near to walk but far enough away from the central part of the noisy town.
Cons: Start over and Rebuild with a budget and sense of it being an inviting hotel.
Very difficult to find and not even the police had heard of it to direct us. When we got to the address, there is no signage for the "hotel" and no parking. It is a cheaply built hotel and felt like a back packers place. No real reception area, staff at front desk were not very responsive and not organized with our reservation, wifi was spotty, furniture in rooms look like they have been borrowed from an old hotel. We just came from Valladolid where we stayed in a beautiful, historic hotel in a charming city. In comparison, this was a cheaply built knock off hotel - the pictures made it appear to be charming but in reality there is nothing charming about this place. We felt like we were living in a dorm.

Beds were so hard and if you are on the main level you hear everything out by the pool. Kids hanging out there all night we couldnt sleep. Some front desk clerks and waiters at breakfast didnt speak english, not great if you only speak english. No matter how much they cleaned, the toilet always seemed dirty. For the price its expected.

Great location, great price, noisy hotel

Posted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: location, friendliness & helpfulness of staff
Cons: beds could be more comfortable
Location: 5 minutes to beach, there are numerous mom & pop within a couple blocks, great prices when you get a couple blocks from the main street in town
The location is great, a 5 minute walk from the beach. The rooms are all around a courtyard that contains a swimming pool. The walls are thin so that you hear plenty of noise from your room. The staff are very accommodating & helpful. The agent at the desk got on the phone for us to sort out a problem with a shuttle bus that we had booked. The hotel could spend a bit of money to get comfortable mattresses, it would be worth paying a little more for comfort. The price was great & overall it was a decent stay.
