“Great place to get awal from the crowd”

Hotel was very good, especially since it is only 3 stars. Everyone was helpful, rooms are very clean. Just a quick shuttle ride to the beach, shuttle was always on time for us. Short walk to the shopping and resturant area if you want to eat out, but the food at the hotel was great. We ate at Maria's a couple of times, but the menu is limited, the buffet was very good for all meals. We plan to go back again.

I had a great time at this hotel ,the staff is great , very friendly and helpful. The location is also good, a little bit far from the beach , specially to walk on such hot weather , but you can take the shuttle. The beach club is good too, the only negative thing is that closes at 5 pm , so you cant have anything to drink or do any activities after that time ( pretty early ) Food was good , you have a lot of options where to choose from. Also a positive, you can book tours to different sites at the front desk and they pick you up there.

“Great Little Hotel”

I certainly would stay here again. Even though it is on "Fifth Avenue" it is far enough away from the noise to get a good nights sleep yet easy walking distance to the shopping and nightlife. The staff are very pleasant and respond to any requests ASAP.The bathroom was rather small and dimly lit and the pool did not have a deep end but all in all I had a very good stay here. The best meal was breakfast.

i went to playa del carmen for the first time this past august and me and my boyfriend stayed at the real playa del carmen resort, everything about it was perfect, the staff is soo frindly and helpful and the foodis excellent, we ate at the reservation only restaraunt two nights and it was amazing, the beach club is really fun too, they have kayaks and snorkle equipment to use, all of the aminities are included in the price, that was great, everything about this vacation was great!!

Had a very pleasant 5-day stay at the hotel. First time I stay at an all-inclusive hotel and it was well worth it. The food was good, the place is convienently located at the end of 5th (where all the action takes place) and is about 4 blocks away from the beach. The only downside to the beachclub is that it is located at the end of the beach and that part of the beach is not recommended for purposes of swimming since it is next to a boat dock and pier. In addition, the beach club and hotel (with all inclusive) has cheap keg beer (not bottled beer). So my girlfriend and I simply stayed at Mamitas Beach (which is actually a closer walk from the hotel) and either paid for chairs/beers at the beach club, or took our own beer to the beach. If you are into beaches, the very best beaches are in the Tulum area, go and see these Mayan ruins and take your swim trunks since the area has beautiful beaches. A little better than Playa del Carmen beaches, and a lot better than Cancun beaches.

“Great Vacation and Can't Wait To Go Back!”

We really like the extra spaces and balconies of our suite. Food was great although we ate the buffet for breakfast and dinner. Custom omlets were the best... Coffee is instant; fresh brewed coffee shop across the street. Location was just past the end of popular 5th Avenue, so a little more quiet. We rented a moped at another location to get about and was convenient to access the city and Beach Club (even though shuttle service is provided) Nice Beach Club with beverage bar and so-so snack food. The Beach Club is in front of the larger sister hotel/resort which has full buffet, but not part of this all-inclusive. All-in-all, great location for the night life, restaurants, shopping, and beach. And, for those who need American-style food the buffet was quite satisfying. The staff was also very pleasant.

This hotel was located right on Ave 5 where all the shops and restaurants are located...a short walk brings you to all the action. Staff was friendly. Food was OK but there are so many choices down the street that lunch and dinner were better elsewhere. Breakfast was varied enough to satisfy. A shuttle will take you to the beach club but it really is not that far of a walk to the beach.
