beautiful condo, good locationPosted Jun 22, 2014
Stayed in a Palmar penthouse at Riviera Maya Suites. Awesome condo, spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. Brief walk through beautiful paths to adjacent Hotel las Palapas for really sweet beach, use of which included in stay. Would definitely go again.

Family Friendly PlacePosted May 7, 2014
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a family friendly place. It is quiet & comfortable. The staff is friendly & helpful. The reserved beach area is clean & Family Friendly as well. It's at the end of 5th Ave, so the music at night was not a problem.

Great experiencePosted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: Access to Las Palapas and location.
Cons: We ordered a 3:15 am wakeup call to catch our flight and we never received it. Thankfully we set our smart phones.
Location: All watersports are available. You can actually snorkel a reef in front of Coco Beach Resort 1/4 North on beach.
We stayed in one of the Cabana's (# 123) that had a small kitchen, living room, TV, bathroom with shower, closet, king sized bed, AC, fans and pack-n-play for our 3 year old. The patio had two comfy chairs and two hammocks. It was nice to hang out on the patio. The AC kept the room nice and cool if the fans and breeze couldn't keep up. 5th Ave is 1/2 block away with all the shops, bars and restaurants. But we found the best Mexican food off the beaten path and the prices were about half as much. The beach was about two blocks away walking through Las Palapas resort, which you have full access to food, bar, swimming pool, beach chairs and umbrella at Las Palapas. This is a huge plus. Keep your eyes open for the iguanas sunning themselves on the rocks, very cool to see. When we were done at the beach we took advantage of the pool and hot tub right next to our cabana in Riveria Maya Suites. The staff are extremely friendly.

This is my second stay at this facility. The best part is the access to Las Palapas and the use of their private beach. The staff is awesome and accommodating. I would stay here again in the future.
