Very good food, nice beach and lots of activities.

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: The beach, the variety of things to do, the good food and the friendly employees.
Cons: This is a family hotel which we wanted. The class system with "Adults only" beach areas asking for more money to access was irritating.
Location: Great location and variety. No need to go anywhere else.
Junior suite was shabby with dirty upholstery, no drawers to put clothes and far from the beach. We were moved to a smaller room close to the beach and close to our friends. We never received the king bed that the reservation promised. The new room had one good and one bad double bed that was fixed temporarily. The shower door was broken, fixed temporarily but never worked well. The room did have a chest of drawers and a nice closet but not what we expected to get as a "suite". The internet was also a maintenance problem. The food was great and exceeded our expectations. We loved the all inclusive concept. The hotel employees were friendly, very helpful and very accommodating. The beach, pools, dining rooms and the facilities were excellent.

Honeymoon

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: It was very clean and the staff was willing to listen to our broken Spanish and seemed excited that we wanted to learn more.
Cons: The food was rather bland, it didn't have much flavor that you would expect from a Mexican resort. Also, the deserts were the same in every location!
Location: Great location for walking on the beach! You can really get away from the crowd and experience some natural beauty.
Overall it was a good experience. There are a few things to watch out for though; do not take the welcome tour. It was a trick to try to make you become a "member". It lasted two hours and basically the last hour was us saying "no, we don't want this" and they kept trying to sell it. We were led to believe it was just to get to know the resort. Also, fifth street was mostly just over priced tourist items. Which I guess some people like, but it didn't give a real taste of Mexico. We felt like people were grabbing us at every turn. Idris, the main welcomer when you arrive was FANTASTIC!!!!!! As was Marisol at the check desk!

Nice hotel and personel

Pros: People working at the hotel are very nice and will tried to commode your requests.
Cons: Shows. I think that shows should be in one place and under the roof, in case of rain.
My husband and I stayed at the Adult section. Quite far from the beach but the walking distance is good for health; at least some exercise that we all need. However, if you don't want to walk the shuttle is available. Not really cared for the shows, could be more interesting. At the beach, ask for Vanessa, the waiters; she is the BEST!!! She will bring you anything and everything. Very, very pleasant girl. They all are but Vanessa was the best. Overall, we had nice time.

Nice staff and beautiful beach

A lot to do in the resort. We stayed at 6000 Haciendas room. It is one of the older building in Haciendas area. Room needs be updated but it is very clean. Since we booked Haciendas room, we got purple wrist bands which allowed us to use 2 premium bars. Also allowed us to use the middle section of beach which have beds.

Una villaggio da tutti e per tutti...

Posted Dec 7, 2014

Best coffee! Nice bars. Rude front desk and spa staff. Did not get the room we booked the 1st night. Mimosas for breakfast are nice and ala carte restaurants are great except for Mediterranean. Overall great hotel
