Nice cozy hotel on the beachPosted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: All the staff from checkin, checkout, entertainment staff, cleaning staff and wait staff.
Cons: Experienced lack of hot water on different days. Others in our party didn't so not sure if it was the room or not.
Location: Location was great. We went to Xcaret which wasn't too far away. We also went to Coba which was about 1.5 hours away but bus ride was good.
We were pleasantly surprised at the size of this hotel. A bit smaller than we're used to but ended up being perfect. We didn't have to fight for a lounger at the pool or beach and no waits at the buffets or a la carte restaurants. Staff was so friendly that they even knew what drinks to bring after the first few days. Rooms were smaller than at the previous Secrets we were at last year, but we didn't spend much time in the room. It was always clean with fresh towels and bath accessories and cleaning was always in the morning with turndown service usually before we returned to our room to change for dinner. Entertainment staff were amazing. Always tried to include everyone is all activities. Overall we were very impressed with the Secrets chain and will certainly try to experience their different locations around Mexico.

Huoneet tyylikkäitä, tilavia, espanjalaisvaikutteinen sisustus. Erinomaiset ravintolat, palvelu huipputasoa. Iso uima-allas ja paljon järjestettyä toimintaa.

Great all-inclusive hotel with minor problemsPosted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: The staff, with the exception of a few, was so welcoming and genuinely happy to greet and talk to us. It made our stay very enjoyable.
Cons: The wifi in the rooms should be working properly.
Location: Go to Xcaret park in Cancun. You'll need a full day to devote to this adventure! The entrance tickets are a little pricey but well worth it.
Food was good. Servers and bartenders were great. Several restaurants to choose from. Must try the hibachi grill (you will need to make reservations). Our chef was hilarious! The hotel and amenities were clean. View was exceptional from our balcony -- ocean view. Shows and entertainment (magic shows and acrobatics) were also enjoyable. The staff, with the exception of a few concierge employees, were so helpful and delightful to interact with. The beach conditions were windy and choppy during our stay so the hotel cancels all non-motorized water activities in these situations for safety reasons. But their pool with swim-up bar was a great alternative. The only problem we had was that the wi-fi was not working in our room during our stay and the concierge was very dismissive about it. Other than that, it was a great vacation.

Couldn't be more pleasedPosted Feb 25, 2015
Cons: Hot tub stays open later.
Location: Spa, Tulum, Snorkel, Zip Line, Cenote, Shopping, More Cenote.
This resort is amazing. The food is great, with plenty of options to keep your taste buds excited. The pool is beautiful. Beach was great. Rooms were spacious and comfortable beds, Jacuzzi tub included! Did I say the food was amazing? The hotel staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. Room service is included! Drinks were wonderful. Like I said, this place is amazing. I would highly recommend this resort to anybody considering.

Hope to returnPosted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: The food was good. The liquor choices were excellent. Bed and room comfortable.
Cons: There was a bad odor in the nightclub. But I seemed to be the only one bothered by it.
Location: We never found the need to leave the resort.
We have traveled to the Cancun/Playa del Carmen area yearly, for the past 7 years. We have stayed at 6 different resorts. This was one of our favorites. Great food. Nice rooms/beds. Amazing staff. I could only find a few small things to complain about, if I really tried. But we are not hard to please. We had an amazing time and would happily return.

Ok but we've been to betterPosted Feb 22, 2015
Nice but not amazing. The beach area is small and many days it was too windy to be at the beach. The ac in the room was cold and couldn't really adjust. Food was very good.

Week at Secrets Capri Jan 2015 Dlx Ocean View RmPosted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: Staff. Great Super Bowl party.
Nice hotel. Lots of pool activities to keep you entertained. Lots of seaweed on the beach but they try to keep it removed, its a full time job here and at neighboring properties. Staff is wonderful. We have stayed at other properties in the area the last two years. Food was good but not worth raving about. Watch out for the timeshare push when you check in, could have skipped that. The pool is heated, but only half of it, at least it is the half with the swim up bar. The ocean was very warm, sandy bottom. Got a few minor jelly fish stings but barely noticed them, healed in a week. The in room"Jacuzzi" is a small jetted tub. The room fridge only has Corona and pop and water. Requested different beer and wine but they just want you to order it from room service, which is OK I guess. We have stayed at other properties that are much nicer as far as room amenities, i.e. two 2 person Jacuzzis in the room, top shelf liquor etc, however they are more expensive. We were there with another couple, by the end of the trip we decided we all had a wonderful time despite some initial misgivings. As I said earlier, the staff is great. Very clean hotel. Very friendly. Probably won't necessarily stay at this location again but had a great week there, would stay at another Secrets Resort certainly.

Nice resortPosted Feb 10, 2015
We went with another couple and very much enjoyed to pool, the activities and the shows at night. The beach is not the best (small with a lot of seaweed) but that didn't stop us from walking every day. The only big turnoff for me was that they kept to sell extras. If you wanted a whole bottle of alcohol, you had to pay. If you wanted to sit outside by the ocean you had to pay extra. So much for being all-inclusive.
